In 2007, American Peter Michael Marino wrote the musical version of the Madonna movie 'Desperately Seeking Susan' featuring the hit songs of Blondie. The mega-musical opened on London's West End at the Novello Theatre … and closed a month later. WHOOPS! 'Desperately Seeking the Exit' is Pete's critically acclaimed true story of the making and unmaking of his notorious flop that played everywhere from the USA, to the UK, to Australia.

This May, All Star Productions - Winner of the Best Producer in the Off-West End Awards 2018 - join forces with Trilby Productions to bring their fresh new adaptation of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods to The Cockpit. Performed in the round, this darkly comic production has been given a 21st century twist with an ensemble of seventeen larger-than-life characters drawn from modern day Britain.

After a sold-out run in 2014, All Star Productions - Winner of the Best Producer in the Off-West End Awards 2018 - team up with Trilby Productions and The Cockpit to stage a fresh new adaptation of James Lapine and Stephen Sondheim's Into the Woods.  Directed by Tim McArthur, this production has been given a 21st century twist that promises to both enchant and thrill.  This darkly comic masterpiece invites audiences to journey into the middle of the forest where well-known fairy tales interweave to create a magical world.

How does this affect them in their search for the perfect partner? 'Control' deals with a relationship that blooms and grows, but as it continues a darkness begins to show.  Who has final control of the situation?

Take a trip to the White House (London Theatre Workshop) this Valentine's Day with the fabulous cast of HOT LIPS AND COLD WAR. Written by Lizzie Freeborn and set in the 1960s during John F. Kennedy's presidency, this charming musical promises plenty of passion and glamour! President John F. Kennedy, First Lady Jackie Kennedy and Marilyn Monroe have returned to the White House in style! British West End musical theatre actor and international cabaret artist Tim McArthur will make his debut in Chicago at Pride Arts Center on March 11 and 12 after appearing at Feinstein's/54 Below in New York on March 5. McArthur will present two shows at the Pride Arts Center - SONDHEIM'S DIVAS on Sunday, March 11 and MOUNTAINS - A MUSICAL ADVENTURE on March 12. Both performances will be in The Broadway, at 4139 N.
