Following a highly acclaimed tour in 2018, The Original Theatre Company and The Anthology Group in association with Peter Stickney and York Theatre Royal's production of Alan Bennett's THE HABIT OF ART will return and tour the UK in 2020. Directed by Philip Franks and starring Matthew Kelly as Fitz (W. H. Auden) and David Yelland as Henry (Benjamin Britten). The tour begins on 18 March 2020 at Devonshire Park Theatre, Eastbourne.

Gary Barlow and Tim Firth will welcome back Ruth Madoc, who returns to play the role of Jessie in the autumn tour of CALENDAR GIRLS The Musical. Act3 Theater Company today announced its nineth season.  The season opens August 9 when earthquakes, tidal waves, infernos and the unforgettable songs of the '70s take center stage in Broadway's side-splitting homage to classic disaster films with Disaster! On Saturday, June 29, I had the pleasure of seeing another first-rate production at the Connecticut Cabaret Theatre in Berlin, CT, CALENDAR GIRLS. Based on a true story, this comedy is written by Tim Firth. As director, Kris McMurray continues to bring out the best in this stellar cast that includes many familiar faces within Connecticut Cabaret Theatre.

Filmed at the Adelphi Theatre in London, "Kinky Boots" the Tony, Grammy & Olivier Award-winning musical from pop icon Cyndi Lauper and legendary playwright Harvey Fierstein, directed and choreography by Tony Award-winner Jerry Mitchell and based on the film written by Geoff Deane and Tim Firth, arrives in movie theaters nationwide June 25 and 29 only. In addition to the full production, audiences will enjoy an exclusive behind-the-scenes look at the story of "Kinky Boots" and never-before-seen footage from the record-breaking Broadway run, which closed last month after more than six years and 2500 performances.
