The beautiful, relevant, and captivating love story sweeps the audience away to an island paradise under the creative direction of Scott Weinstein. This musical, that has garnered ten Tony Awards and three Academy Awards, can now add this brilliant production to its lists of accomplishments. The visual appeal, the creativity, the pertinent story, the music, and the cast are all phenomenal. Once again the magical stage at the Merry a?' Go -Round Playhouse has proven that they bring the Broadway-wow factor with a fresh take on this classic musical.

Director Brett Smock's productions often are memorable and this one is no exception. With the lavish set, spot on casting, and impressive choreography this production is one of the top productions I've seen presented at The Merry - Go a?" Round Playhouse.

This year marks the company's 61st season which also includes Grand Hotel, South Pacific, Working, A Musical, and Loch Ness, a New Musical.

The 2019 season of the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival has officially begun at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, New York. The season's first musical is none other than the very familiar hit Grease, directed by Igor Goldin. It has been 21 years since a production of Grease entertained audiences at Merry-Go-Round Playhouse and local audiences are, without a doubt, excited to see the familiar musical. The title of the show alone is making tickets disappear like lightning.

Multiple award-winning film and theatre lyricist Tim Rice, in conjunction with the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival, will present an industry-only NYC development workshop of his new musical, From Here To Eternity. 

Just like that the 2018 season ends at the Merry-Go-Round Playhouse in Auburn, New York - and it ends with the empowering and mesmerizing production of Larry Gallagher's Beehive: The 60s Musical. First off, I am not a fan of 'jukebox musicals,' but I guess there is always an exception and it is this production at the Finger Lakes Musical Theatre Festival.

It looks like the Holidays have come early to Auburn's Merry - Go - Round Playhouse with their current production of Irving Berlin's Holiday Inn, delightfully directed by Richard J. Hinds. The heartwarming musical will compel you to tap your feet along to the upbeat tunes. It will put a smile on your face and have you longing for the holiday season (even if it is August).
