Fleabag has won the 2019 Golden Globe Best Television Series - Musical or Comedy. The 77th Annual GOLDEN GLOBE AWARDS are airing live on NBC, hosted by Ricky Gervais.

Michael Urie will present HAPPY BIRTHDAY DOUG a?" a new comedy written and performed by Drew Droege (the Internet's a?oeChloë,a?? a?oeDrunk History,a?? a?oeBob's Burgers,a?? upcoming RuPaul's a?oeAJ and the Queena?? on Netflix) a?" will be performed at SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street, between 6th Avenue and Varick Street in Manhattan) for a limited run from Thursday, February 6 to Sunday, March 1, 2020. Opening night is set for Thursday, February 13.

From award-winning Orlando playwright John Mark Jernigan, Goodbye runs select dates December 19 - 28 at the SoHo Playhouse in NYC as a part of the Fringe Encore Series. In recent history the Soho Playhouse Fringe Encore series has featured incredible talents such as Phoebe Waller-Bridge and Hannah Gadsby. John Mark Jernigan and team have been critically acclaimed internationally in Orlando and Canada over the last three years for their multiple one act plays including Goodbye. Awards include Patron's Pick, Critic's Choice and official selection awards between Orlando, Canada and now the Soho Playhouse. This is John Mark Jernigan's off-broadway debut as a playwright.

Internationally Award Winning UK the makers, The Flanagan Collective & Gobbledigook Theatre, bring a modern retelling of an ancient myth for a North American Premiere. Wound from soaring, heart pounding live music and searing spoken word, ORPHEUS & EURYDICE is a show for anyone who has fallen in love, and for anyone who has lost it. ORPHEUS & EURYDICE at SoHo Playhouse is a world premiere of two internationally award winning shows. These UK 'Master Storytellers' have toured ORPHEUS across the globe, and EURYDICE was awarded Best Theatre at Adelaide Fringe Festival. Now, for the first time, the two halves of an ancient whole combine. This festive season, New York audiences are treated to a feminist redefining of Kafka's masterpiece exploring sexuality and adulthood. It's first staging in the U.S., Metamorphosis is a powerful, hour-long re-telling of the original, exploring the universal experience of the uncontrollable changes as we transition from child to adult.

Celebrated, internationally renowned performer Katsura Sunshine (whom the New Yorker called a?oe A big, burly, blond with a bellowing rapid-fire style) will continue to bring the Japanese art of Rakugo to New York in Katsura Sunshine's Rakugo. The show opened to rave reviews in September and will continue its run at New World Stages into the new year with new Rakugo stories each month December is Rakugo for the Entire Family featuring: The Zoo (a??c??aoe') about a man who needed the perfect job ; Momotaro (ae??a??e??) the story about how kids say the darndest things and Jugemu (a??e??c??) the boy with the very long name and January leave the kids at home, for rakugo for more mature audiences, the seedier side of rakugo stories. affairs, gambling and drinking with stories such as The Furoshiki Cloth (e??a'?ae??) and Reading Time (e??ae??のae??e-") (Reading Time is an original story by Sunshine's Master, Katsura Bunshi VI).

'Where were you the night the Gaybird Steamer ran off her tracks?' Preeminent American storyteller Dandy Darkly makes his Off-Broadway debut with his latest award-winning, critically acclaimed hour of supernatural, Southern Gothic satire. Dandy Darkly's All Aboard! is a glorious Georgia ghost story as told by the survivors of that tragic Halloween night - from the little boy chased by the phantoms that still haunt her as an adult to the cruel Colonel buried in his bunker, tinkering with his sinister toys.

The 15th Annual Fringe Encore Series at the Soho Playhouse presents Mil Grus, an LA based ensemble that has developed a unique form of physical satire. Their visual, visceral, and inimitable show is unique every time depending on who shows up and shares space with these five cosmic beings. Blending bouffon, sacred clowning, spectacle, and physical theater, Mil Grus acts as a mirror to society and forces us to laugh at our own fears and weaknesses.

Actor Burt Grinstead gained recognition in Los Angeles for his terrific performance in Deathtrap at LGBTQ and later in The Rope at Actors Co-op. He formed his own production company and produced and co-starred in Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde, which he also adapted with his partner Anna Stromberg. They won top prize at the Hollywood Fringe Festival in 2018. Grinstead is currently preparing to open as Richard the Lionheart in The Lion in Winter at Laguna Playhouse this Sunday November 10. In our conversation he talks about the play in depth and lays bare his passion for the acting profession.

SoHo Playhouse presents the American Premiere of Henry Naylor's Games, directed by Darren Lee Cole. It will begin performances on October 10 and open on October 20  running through November 24, 2019, at the Historic SoHo Playhouse (15 Vandam Street).
