The complete cast for the Broadway premiere of the Royal Court Theatre/Atlantic Theater Company production of Martin McDonagh's new comedy Hangmen features Mark Addy as Harry, Tracie Bennett as Alice, Ewen Bremner as Syd, Owen Campbell as Clegg, Jeremy Crutchley as Inspector Fry, Gaby French as Shirley, Josh Goulding as Hennessy, John Hodgkinson as Pierrepoint, Richard Hollis as Bill, John Horton as Arthur, Ryan Pope as Charlie and Dan Stevens as Mooney, joined by understudies Sebastian Beacon, Pete Bradbury, Katie Fabel, and Colin McPhillamy. Directed by Matthew Dunster, Martin McDonagh's Hangmen begins performances on Friday, February 28, 2020, and officially opens on Thursday, March 19, 2020, at Broadway's Golden Theatre (252 West 45th Street).

Dominic Cooke and Kate Horton launch their company Fictionhouse with a new West End production of C. P. Taylor's GOOD, starring David Tennant, Fenella Woolgar and Elliot Levey. Produced by Fictionhouse and Playful Productions, GOOD will play at the Playhouse Theatre for a strictly limited season from Tuesday 6 October (Press performance Wednesday 14 October).

Goodman Theatre Artistic Director Robert Falls has announced casting for his upcoming revival of Molly Sweeney by Brian Friel. In assuming the title role, Chicago favorite Kate Fry returns to the Goodman, following her recent appearance in Falls' production of The Winter's Tale. Joining Fry are stage and screen star Brendan Coyle (Downton Abbey), who returns to the Goodman following his triumphant appearance in last season's St. Nicholas by Conor McPherson, and Chicago's Christopher Donahue (Oedipus Rex at Court Theatre, Moby Dick at Lookingglass).

Initial casting has been announced for the 10th anniversary revival of Bruce Norris' seminal play Clybourne Park. Oliver Kaderbhai directs a cast including Michael Fox (Jim / Tom), Imogen Stubbs (Bev / Kathy) and Eric Underwood (Albert / Kevin). The production opens on 30 March, with previews from 25 March, and runs until 2 May.

World renowned acting professor, Andrei Malaev-Babel is bringing the Demidov Technique to America, specifically to Sarasota, in an experimental classroom project that will culminate in two weekends of performance of debbie tucker green's hang. The Demidov Technique teaches actors to draw from their subconscious minds to give personal and complex depth to the characters they play. Students will continue to develop their characters in the week between performances. Attendance is free and audiences are encouraged to return for the second weekend to see how the characters and interactions have matured. Performances will be held in the Cooley Studio February 21 a?" 23 and February 28 a?" March 1 at 8 PM on Fridays and Saturdays and 2 PM on Sundays. Seating is extremely limited at this time and some performances are sold out.

American Shakespeare Center launches the 2020 Marquee Repertory season this summer navigating the waters of Venice, the glittering locale of Shakespeare's Othello and The Merchant of Venice and Ben Jonson's Volpone.
