Founded in 1999, TAP-Plus awards grants of up to $5,000 for open captioning services to eligible cultural organizations throughout New York State. Any institution that currently receives NYSCA funding is eligible to apply for a TAP-Plus grant.

Keen Company has announced its first musical commission: a new musical by Adam Gwon (Ordinary Days, Scotland, PA). Keen presented Gwon’s Ordinary Days in Fall of 2018 to great acclaim, including a nomination for the 2019 Drama League Award for Outstanding Revival of a Musical (Broadway or Off-Broadway).

Producer Jeffrey Seller, Popejoy Presents, and Haverland Carter Broadway in New Mexico announced a digital lottery for HAMILTON tickets will begin in conjunction with the show’s first performance (January 25) in Albuquerque at Popejoy Hall.

RED BULL THEATER today announced that its online offerings will continue on Wednesday January 19th at 7:30 PM with a RemarkaBULL Podversation, Much Ado About Benedick with Grantham Coleman. This event is “Pay What You Can.” All of Red Bull’s online programs are FREE. 

Westport Country Playhouse announces updates to its 2022 season playing from April through October, including a change in the production lineup, the addition of two new directors, and a shorter run for four of the five shows.

The Huntington announces the cast and creative team for a stunning new production of The Bluest Eye based on the American classic novel by Toni Morrison.  Written by Lydia R. Diamond (Stick Fly on Broadway and The Huntington, Smart People at The Huntington), the play reimagines Morrison's haunting and powerful first book for the stage.

Lucille Lortel Theatre has announced the first guests of 2022 for its “Live at The Lortel” podcast series. Now in its third season, “Live at The Lortel” is hosted by Eric Ostrow and co-hosts Joy DeMichelle and John-Andrew Morrison.
