It would be easy to wonder about the person who can write a show as funny, heartfelt, insightful, and contemplative as WHAT WE TALK ABOUT WHEN WE TALK ABOUT ANNE FRANK.  Yet when speaking with playwright Nathan Englander it becomes clear that the humor, the nimble turn of phrase and topic, and then somehow turning back to come together at the end is exactly how his mind works. Englander talks about his process of turning his short story of the same name into the quick-witted comedy now playing at The Old Globe through October 23rd.

Theater Wit has announced the return of Who’s Holiday!, a hilarious night out with a booze-guzzling, cigarette-smoking, 40-year-old Cindy Lou Who as she recalls the fateful night she met The Grinch, and the sordid events that happened after, November 25-December 30, 2022. 

The film takes place on a starry night, as Jack and Jill separately meet a fortune teller who predicts they will meet the love of their life before the end of the year, which happens to be only five days away. Opening night of Tony Danza's 54 Below run was full of surprises, heart, Dad jokes and great music.

Nicky Jam (Bad Boys for Life) is set to star in the project, as well as produce as through La Industria, Inc., which he founded Brooks McLaren and D.J. Cotrona are attached to pen the screenplay. The two have already appeared on the famed Black List for their action-fueled script Fight or Flight.
