Vote. has assembled Allison Janney (“Mom”), A$AP Ferg (Floor Seats II), Billy Porter (“Pose”), Tom Cavanaugh (“Flash”), Richard Schiff (“West Wing”), Cara Buono (“Stranger Things”), Bridget Moynahan (“Blue Bloods”), Jenna Ushkovitz (“Glee”), Ryan Destiny (“Star”), Brittany O’Grady (“Little Voice”), Romy Rosemont (“Glee”), Miss J. (“Americas Next Top Model”), Leon (“The Temptations”) and many more as part of the Be Dope. Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) has announced that their 2020 national convention is being held in the Kentucky International Convention Center and surrounding theatres and hotels for this year's event. With an estimated 5,000 attendees, this gathering has become the main place for connecting those working, teaching or training in theatre, to opportunities in the industry.

Olney Theatre Center Adds Limited Run Of 2 PIANOS, 4 HANDS

The comedy 2 Pianos 4 Hands has been added to the current Olney Theatre Center schedule as a special event for a limited run on the Historic Stage, May 8 - 24, 2020. Written and originally performed by Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt; Jefferson McDonald and Matt McGloin take the stage for this production to portray Ted and Richard from their very first piano lessons as they strive to become professional concert pianists. Directed by Tom Frey, each actor plays a piano in this comic look at what happens when we chase our dreams and come up short. Jemicy School Thespians Named State Champions At Maryland State Thespian Festival

a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Jemicy School's International Thespian Society Troupe #8269 was named state champion at the Maryland State Thespian Festival at Towson University Jan. 10-11. Jemicy School thespians will now represent Maryland by performing their award-winning One Act on the Chapter Select Stage at the International Thespian Festival June 22-27 at Indiana University Bloomington.

Gettysburg Community Theatre Announces 12th Season

Gettysburg Community Theatre, a non-profit 501c3 organization in historic downtown Gettysburg, PA, has just kicked off it's 12th Season will a sold-out production of the musical Willy Wonka. GCT's two staff members and 170 volunteers made over 100 performances happen in 2019, and thanks to donors, sponsors, volunteers, students, and audience members, GCT looks forward to another wonderful year of theatre.

Michael Emerson Will Host Tectonic Theater Project's MOMENTS IN PROGRESS

Tectonic Theater Project will present MOMENTS IN PROGRESS, a reading of selections from new plays currently in development, on Monday, January 27 at 7:30pm co-presented by and performed at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. Tectonic Theater Project company member and two-time Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson will host the evening, guiding audiences through Tectonic's current projects. Emerson has been a part of Tectonic since their first breakout hit, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, and has since starred in the hit television shows Lost, Arrow, Person of Interest and more.
