(“Americas Next Top Model”), Leon (“The Temptations”) and many more as part of the Be Dope. Vote. campaign which kicks off on Friday, October 9, 2020 at 11:00am EST to encourage voting on all social platforms.

Tectonic Theater Project and Miami New Drama will present an online performance of select scenes from Las Aventuras de Juan Planchard, written and directed by Tectonic Theater Project founder and Artistic Director Moisés Kaufman, and based on the best-selling novel by fellow Venezuelan Jonathan Jakubowicz, on October 6.

Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) has announced that their 2020 national convention is being held in the Kentucky International Convention Center and surrounding theatres and hotels for this year's event. With an estimated 5,000 attendees, this gathering has become the main place for connecting those working, teaching or training in theatre, to opportunities in the industry.

The comedy 2 Pianos 4 Hands has been added to the current Olney Theatre Center schedule as a special event for a limited run on the Historic Stage, May 8 - 24, 2020. Written and originally performed by Ted Dykstra and Richard Greenblatt; Jefferson McDonald and Matt McGloin take the stage for this production to portray Ted and Richard from their very first piano lessons as they strive to become professional concert pianists. Directed by Tom Frey, each actor plays a piano in this comic look at what happens when we chase our dreams and come up short. a??a??a??a??a??a??a??Jemicy School's International Thespian Society Troupe #8269 was named state champion at the Maryland State Thespian Festival at Towson University Jan. 10-11. Jemicy School thespians will now represent Maryland by performing their award-winning One Act on the Chapter Select Stage at the International Thespian Festival June 22-27 at Indiana University Bloomington.

Gettysburg Community Theatre, a non-profit 501c3 organization in historic downtown Gettysburg, PA, has just kicked off it's 12th Season will a sold-out production of the musical Willy Wonka. GCT's two staff members and 170 volunteers made over 100 performances happen in 2019, and thanks to donors, sponsors, volunteers, students, and audience members, GCT looks forward to another wonderful year of theatre.

Tectonic Theater Project will present MOMENTS IN PROGRESS, a reading of selections from new plays currently in development, on Monday, January 27 at 7:30pm co-presented by and performed at the Marlene Meyerson JCC Manhattan, 334 Amsterdam Ave. Tectonic Theater Project company member and two-time Emmy Award winner Michael Emerson will host the evening, guiding audiences through Tectonic's current projects. Emerson has been a part of Tectonic since their first breakout hit, Gross Indecency: The Three Trials of Oscar Wilde, and has since starred in the hit television shows Lost, Arrow, Person of Interest and more.

On a muggy summer evening somewhere down in the Alabama Delta, Kendra and Betty troll the flats looking for redfish. Six years into their relationship, tensions and passions flare as the couple clash over past infidelities, life-choices, and job struggles. When their motor breaks, stranding them in open water under darkening skies, the couple are forced to grapple with the growing space between them and where their life together will go next. 

Southeastern Theatre Conference (SETC) is thrilled to welcome Tectonic Theater Project to conduct the 2020 Teachers Institute at the 71st Annual SETC Convention.

About Face Theatre continues its 2019-2020 season with the Chicago premiere of Audrey Cefaly's award-winning drama THE GULF, running January 9 through February 15, 2020, at Theater Wit. THE GULF is a riveting look at how partners in a long-term relationship change over time, and what it takes to keep love alive. Directed by About Face Artistic Director Megan Carney, the production will feature AFT Artistic Associate Kelli Simpkins and Deanna Myers. Press opening is Friday, January 17 at 7:30 pm.
