'I enjoy dancing now more than I did when I was younger, especially creating my own movement,' says Tanner Lane, a New York based performer and choreographer. He is currently on faculty at Broadway Dance Center where he teaches Theatre Jazz as well as Deviate Dance Convention where he teaches Theatre, Jazz, and Heels. He moved to New York from Florida after attending Florida State University for Musical Theatre. Shortly after moving to the city, Tanner joined the equity Broadway National Tour of Chicago The Musical where he toured both nationally (including Kennedy Center) and internationally (South Korea, Japan, Philippines). In NYC he is the only person to have performed as both a singer and a dancer in the Radio City Christmas Spectacular.  This summer he choreographed for the Las Culturistas 2024 Culture Awards with Matt Rogers and Bowen Yang and set a number for an event with Leg Up On Life. Tanner has also had the opportunity to perform around the country regionally in Joseph..., and Billy Elliot (The Muny), Bye Bye Birdie (Lyric Theatre OKC), A Chorus Line (Stages St. Louis), and more.

Leg Up On Life's 10th NIGHT OF LIFE Benefiting The Trevor Project is taking it back to the Sony Hall stage located in the landmark Paramount Hotel on Monday, August 19th.

BROADWAY SESSIONS is described as an evening of musical performances, games and open mic featuring a new Broadway guest each week. The show is created and hosted by Ben Cameron (Bway Wicked, Aida and Footloose) and features musical director Joshua Stephen Kartes on piano. 

Fiddlehead Theatre Company's Boston premiere production of PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT dazzles, and it's not just because of the millions of sequins used by Director/Costume Designer Stacey Stephens for the ab-fab fashions of the glamorous drag performers and their entourage. With over 300 costumes, eleven 3-foot wide head-dresses, more than two dozen musical numbers, and a life-size bus named Priscilla, the show offers a visual and aural smorgasbord to rival a midnight snack on a cruise ship.

CHICAGO, which opened to rave reviews on November 14, 1996, now has the distinction of beingthe longest running American musical and the second longest running show in Broadway history. CHICAGO returns to the National Theatre for one week only, February 10 - 15, 2015, with John O'Hurley as Billy Flynn.

Broadway stalwart Jeff McCarthy joins the all-American cast of the Broadway musical CHICAGO, which is set to play Solaire Resort and Casino's The Theatre from next Wednesday, December 3, to Sunday, December 21. McCarthy will play the role of criminal lawyer Billy Flynn, alongside Bianca Marroquin's Roxie Hart, Terra C. MacLeod's Velma Kelly, Jacob Keith Watson's Amos Hart, Roz Ryan's Matron 'Mama' Morton, and C. Newcomer.

The FSU Student Theatre Association presents the world premier of Alexander Sage Oyen's haunting original musical A Night Like This directed by FSU senior and FSU STA artistic director Blayze Teicher. The original production of A CHORUS LINE grew out of workshops organized by director/choreographer Michael Bennett where dancers and performers discussed the various joys and hardships of a life spent pursuing the stage as an occupation. James Kirkwood, Jr. and Nicholas Dante pieced together these elements to form a compelling story focusing on the anxieties facing a group of dancers auditioning to be in the chorus of a Broadway show, while Marvin Hamlisch (music) and Edward Kleban put their tales to a catchy score that's still decidedly hummable. Stages St. Louis opens their 25th season with this timeless masterpiece, and it's a dazzling production filled with wonderful performances, nurtured by the excellent work of director Michael Hamilton and choreographer Kim Shriver, who neatly recreate the original magic.

The one singular sensation that exhilarated Broadway for over fifteen years, A Chorus Line opens on June 3 at STAGES ST. LOUIS. A Chorus Line continues through July 3 at the Robert G. Reim Theatre in Kirkwood.
