So what's your role? Buy a ticket, enjoy the festivities and celebrate Theatre Jacksonville's 89 years of extraordinary service to the First Coast!

Pamela Myers (Dolly Levi) was nominated for a 1971 Tony Award for Best Featured Actress in a Musical for her work as Marta in the Stephen Sondheim and George Furth musical Company and was most recently seen on Broadway as Cinderella's stepmother in the Tony-winning revival of Into the Woods. Upon graduation from the University of Cincinnati, College Conservatory of Music, she went to New York and was promptly cast in Weigh In, Way Out, the last revue at the famed Upstairs At The Downstairs. Within her first month in NY, she was cast in Company. She learned she was cast in the show when Mr. Sondheim told her he had written a song ("Another Hundred People") for her. A mere 36 years later, she premiered a new show Hats, the Red Hat Society Musical, about women over 50. She has starred in regional theaters around the country in such shows as Gypsy, Sweeney Todd, Sunday in the Park with George, I Do I Do, Annie Get Your Gun, Hello Dolly, and The Full Monty. Along the way she sang at the White House on PBS and guest starred on numerous TV shows such as Happy Days, Alice, Starsky and Hutch plus a four year run on the 50's spoof series Sha Na Na. She toured with the Boston Pops and sang in many joyous concerts with the Cincinnati Pops. In addition to her many performance credits, Ms. Myers continues to share her craft as a musical theatre teacher, most recently serving on the faculty of The Cabaret Conference at Yale University. Her highest accomplishment is raising a son who is now in graduate school for Art History.

Harvey Evans (Horace Vandergelder) continues his association with Hello, Dolly!, having previously played Barnaby in the opening production at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion in Los Angeles, alongside Carol Channing. He then had the great fortune of sharing the stage with other "Dollys" Eve Arden and Betty Grable. About 10 years prior to Hello, Dolly!, Harvey left his native Cincinnati for the lure of Broadway and appeared in the original companies of New Girl In Town, West Side Story, Redhead, Gypsy, Anyone Can Whistle, George M!, The Boy Friend and Follies. One of his favorite opportunities was appearing in a star-studded Broadway revival of Our Town with Henry Fonda as the Stage Manager. In 1980 he played P.T. Barnum in the Cy Coleman Broadway musical Barnum, touring for several years in that role. He has also appeared regionally at the Humana Festival of Louisville, Long Beach Civic Light Opera, Houston Grand Opera and the St. Louis Muny. Mr. Evans' movies include West Side Story, The Pajama Game, Silk Stockings, The Girl Most Likely, Mary Poppins, Experiment In Terror, and Bankshot. On TV, he guest-starred on Cheers, played opposite Ann-Margret in Dames At Sea, Lauren Bacall in Applause, and the "soap operas" The Brighter Day, Loving and Another World. Recent credits include The Rothschilds and Annie Warbucks Off-Broadway, and on Broadway in Sunset Blvd., Scarlet Pimpernel and the revivals of Damn Yankees and Oklahoma! Now in his sixth decade of performing, Mr. Evans appeared in the 2008 Disney musical movie Enchanted and was honored to perform along his fellow Jets and Sharks in a 50th Anniversary tribute to the original Broadway production of West Side Story. This "buckeye" is thrilled to continue his Dolly love affair with his Cincinnati friend Pam Myers.
