This coming season, AMERICAN SCOREBOARD, a series of actor-performed, verbatim readings of actual U.S. Congressional hearing transcripts, will once again join forces with HB STUDIO to perform four readings featuring HB students and alumni. The series will kick-off on Monday, September 16 at 7pm at the HB Playwrights Theatre (124 Bank Street) with a performance of testimony given on March 6, 2019 before the U.S. House Judiciary Committee on Protecting Dreamers and TPS (Temporary Protected Status) recipients. In its epic reboot of Extreme Makeover: Home Edition, HGTV has brought in some of the biggest names in home renovation to help execute extraordinary, life-changing home transformations for families. The series, hosted by award-winning actor Jesse Tyler Ferguson, will feature special guest stars in every episode, including Tarek El Moussa(Flip or Flop), Jasmine Roth (Hidden Potential) and Tamara Day (Bargain Mansions). Since it was announced last year, the Ordway has touted this project as a new reimagined version with a?oerevisions, updates, and some new twists that are totally unique to [their] production,a?? according to the Ordway's Producing Artistic Director, Rod Kaats. However, you can only make a first impression once so this will forever be my version and experience with this musical and I'll say that it was a pretty good first experience to have with it.
