Chanhassen Dinner Theatre's MAMMA MIA! Brings Treats To Morning Commuters

Downtown commuters riding the Metro Transit Light Rail Blue and Green Lines will have something fun to wake up to on their way to work on Thursday, October 10!  Cast representatives of MAMMA MIA! will greet commuters on the corner of 5th Street South, between 3rd and 4th Avenues South in Minneapolis (near the Government Plaza and Capella Tower).

Ensemble Connect Musicians Embark On Second Year Of Prestigious Fellowship Program

Ensemble Connect continues its two-year fellowship program this season with concerts at Carnegie Hall and The Juilliard School, as well as residencies and performances at The Pocantico Center of the Rockefeller Brothers Fund, Skidmore College, and in schools and community venues throughout New York City.

New Deal Creative Arts Center Holds Sold Out, Powerful Reading Of Louisa Vilardi's TOUGH LOVE

The New Deal Creative Arts Center presented a sold out public reading of Tough Love, a new play written by playwright Louisa Vilardi. The reading was held at Clove Creek Dinner Theater on Sunday, September 29, 2019 to a packed audience. Tough Love is a mix of comedy and drama that explores how much it takes to give up or give in when it comes to marriage and family. An interactive talk back followed the performance and the crowd conveyed how the piece moved them to both laughter and tears. Many expressed their connection to Vilardi's new work and were confident in the future success of the play.

Theatr Clwyd presents the world première of Emily White's debut play Pavilion. Artistic Director Tamara Harvey directs Ifan Huw Dafydd (Dewi), Carly-Sophia Davies (Jess), Caitlin Drake (Myfanwy), Ellis Duffy (Gary), Michael Geary (Evan), Lowri Hamer (Bethan), Victoria John (Big Nell), Kristian Phillips (Lloyd), Adam Redmore (Mark/Will), Rebecca Smith-Williams (Mary) and Tim Treloar (Dylan). The production opens at Theatr Clwyd on 2 October, with previews from 26 September, until 12 October.

ARE YOU AFRAID OF THE DARK? Reboot To Premiere At Beyond Fest

Beyond Fest, the highest-attended genre film festival in the US, is excited to announce the premiere event of Nickelodeon's Are You Afraid of the Dark? The three-part limited series event sees the return of the Midnight Society, with Beyond Fest bowing the first two episodes on Monday, Oct. 7. Ruby Slippers Theatre (RST) enters its 31st season with a five day festival of new plays written and directed by diverse female-identifying artists, Advance Theatre: New Works by Diverse Women. RST is also offering the West Coast English-language premiere of From Alaska by Sébastien Harrisson, translated by Leanna Brodie; as well as featuring Wet'suwet'en artist Taninli Wright's Sis Ne' Bi -Yïz: Mother Bear Speaks, based on the playwright's own inspiring story of healing and reclamation, as part of The Cultch's Femme Series.

Theatr Clwyd today announces further details for the world première of Bethan Marlow's Mold Riots, which will see a community and professional cast bring one of Wales' forgotten dark days to life on the streets of Mold in a large-scale promenade production with locations including Mold Town Council Chamber, Mold cattle market and St Mary's Church. Katie Posner directs Gethin Alderman (Robat), Lauren Fitzpatrick (Margaret), Amy Forrest (Ailis), and Kai Owen (David), alongside a community cast of over 100 from ages 7 to 87, including 30 children.
