Franklin School for the Performing Arts (FSPA) alum Chris LeBeau has returned from NYC to create new choreography for the Franklin Performing Arts Company (FPAC)'s production of Cabaret. Originally from Holliston, LeBeau received his BFA in Musical Theatre from Syracuse University's prestigious Drama Department. His national tour credits include Chicago The Musical (ensemble, understudy Amos Hart) and The Producers (ensemble, understudy Leo Bloom).

Steve Kroft will retire from 60 MINUTES at the end of his 30th season on America's most-watched news program. The 73-yr-old correspondent is currently the news magazine's longest tenured reporter, having reported nearly 500 60 MINUTES stories – many among the broadcast's biggest moments. Kroft will announce his plans to step down this Sunday, May 19th after the broadcast's 51st season finale. 60 MINUTES will celebrate his 50-year career as a journalist with a special tribute broadcast this September.

The Syracuse University Department of Drama concludes its 2018-2019 season with Naomi Iizuka's 'Good Kids.' This production is directed by faculty member Holly Thuma and features New York City based actor Carey Cox, who portrays the character Dierdre. Last time we had the opportunity to talk to Katie LaMark she was on tour with the 20th Anniversary production of Rent, which at the time was heading to Music City for a stand at Tennessee Performing Arts Center. The time was October, 2016, and we were immediately taken by her easy manner, her obvious charm and her appreciation for where she found herself in her career. Now she's back on-tour, playing the role of Sherrie in the 10th anniversary national tour of Rock of Ages, heading back to Nashville this weekend for a three-performance run at TPAC this Friday and Saturday, April 12 and 13. And we're happy to report, she's just as great an interview as ever!
