Tonys season is here at last and we have photos of all the 2022 Tonys Nominees. The nominations for the biggest Broadway awards ceremony were announced last week on Monday, May 9. Leading the pack was A Strange Loop with eleven nominations, followed closely by MJ and Paradise Square, with ten nominations each.

Greyson Taylor, from Interlochen Center For The Arts in Interlochen and Ashely Woytal, from Portage Northern High School in Portage, competed in and won the 10th annual Sutton Foster Awards at Wharton Center on Sunday, May 15, 2022. 

Award-winning playwright Fred Gordon's new play AMERICAN MU$CLE will have its World Premiere at The New York Theater Festival in June. Opening night is slated for Monday, June 13 at 9pm at Teatro Latea on The Lower East Side. The production is directed by David F.M. Vaughn who previously directed two plays by Gordon.

​Ghostlight Records and Yellow Sound Label have announced that the original Broadway Cast Recording of A Strange Loop, Michael R. Jackson’s Pulitzer-Prize winning musical will be released in digital and streaming formats on Friday, June 10.

Harmony: A New Musical, starring musical theatre icons Chip Zien (Into the Woods, Caroline, Or Change) and Sierra Boggess (The Little Mermaid, The Phantom of the Opera), has announced the recording of their original cast album, to be produced by Barry Manilow and co-produced by Lawrence Manchester. Jill Dell'Abate is the Production Manager.

Arizona Opera announced casting today for their vibrant 2022/23 Season, which will feature an exciting array of productions, ranging from beloved classics to new works, including a return to five in-theater shows in both Phoenix and Tucson.

The Sutton Foster Award ceremony is a celebration of outstanding achievement recognizing individual artistry in vocal, dance, and acting performances in a high school musical theatre production.

The Actors Fund, the 140-year-old national human services organization for everyone in performing arts and entertainment, announced at its Annual Gala yesterday that, effective immediately, they have changed their name to Entertainment Community Fund, in order to better reflect the broad scope of industry professionals they help.

The Tony Awards Administration Committee has been meeting all year to discuss the eligibility of the 2021-22 Broadway productions all leading up to Monday's big announcement... the Tony nominations. GHOSTLIGHT RECORDS will release a special vinyl edition of Eleri Ward album A Perfect Little Death on Friday, June 17. It’s currently available for pre-order. She will celebrate the release with a special sold-out concert at Joe’s Pub (425 Lafayette Street) in New York on June 7, which follows two sold-out shows earlier this year.
