The black-tie evening honoring Foster a?" a two-time Tony Award, Drama Desk, Outer Critics, Fred Astaire, and Gracie Award winner and star of TV Land's hit television series a?oeYoungera?? -- will take place on Monday, October 28, 2019 beginning at 6:30 p.m. in New York City at The Plaza (768 Fifth Avenue). As previously announced, EY is the 2019 recipient of The Drama League's Arts Ally Award, to be accepted by Herb Engert at the Benefit Gala.

Tori Scott Debuts VODKA IS THE REASON FOR THE SEASON At Broward Center

Producer Mark Cortale and The Broward Center will present the South Florida debut of Tori Scott, named a?oeThe Bette Midler of the new millenniuma?? by Provincetown Magazine and among the Top 10 Cabaret Performers in NYC by Time Out New York, with her holiday show Vodka Is The Reason For The Season on November 30. Princeton Symphony Orchestra Continues Soundtracks Series with Conductor John Devlin

On Wednesday, November 6 at 7 pm, in partnership with the Princeton Public Library, Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) presents Soundtracks: a?oeThe New American Canon: Broadway, Film, Jazz, and Popa?? with former PSO Assistant Conductor, now Music Director of Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, John Devlin. Mr. Devlin talks about the new American music canon which has expanded far beyond the standards of the American songbook.

On Sunday, October 13th, Tony Award nominee Laura Osnes spent the day with a group of students at Broadway Artists Alliance, workshopping audition material and sharing stories about her experience on Broadway. Osnes was most recently seen on Broadway in the critically acclaimed production Bandstand, in which she originated the role of Julia Trojan and was nominated for a Drama Desk Award. Osnes is also well known for her starring turns in Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella (Ella, Tony Award Nomination), Bonnie and Clyde (Bonnie, Tony Award Nomination), Anything Goes (Hope Harcourt), South Pacific (Nellie Forbush) and Grease (Sandy). Osnes took time out of her busy schedule to connect with the students and share her advice for navigating the theater industry.

Sutton Foster Headlines First Show Of New PRINCETON POPS Series

On Friday, November 8 at 8:00pm, superstar Sutton Foster stars in An Evening with Sutton Foster, headlining the first show of Princeton Symphony Orchestra (PSO) and McCarter Theatre Center's new PRINCETON POPS series collaboration. The Tony Award-winning singer, actor, and dancer Sutton Foster performs personal song favorites and Broadway classics including a?oeAnything Goes,a?? a?oeC'est Magnifique,a?? a?oeDown with Love,a?? a?oeI Get a Kick out of You,a?? a?oeSunshine on My Shoulders,a?? a?oeSinging in the Rain,a?? and so much more. The Princeton Symphony Orchestra accompanies Ms. Foster under the baton of John Devlin, former PSO assistant conductor, now music director of the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra. The performance takes place in McCarter's Matthews Theatre.
