Stages Repertory Theatre is thrilled to welcome Houston audiences to the regional premiere of Joe Kinosian and Kellen Blair's critically-acclaimed Murder for Two. The hilarious murder mystery is slated for an 8-week run beginning April 24 in Stages' Arena Theatre.

It's the right time to resurrect the 1982 off-Broadway phenomenon LITTLE SHOP OF HORRORS. It's a catchy little musical that says a lot about greed combined with materialism, and it reminds audiences of how brilliant Howard Ashman and Alan Menken have always been.

They sing!  They dance!  They are Mr. Popper's Penguins!!  Main Street Theater (MST) presents the delightful musical Mr. Popper's Penguins, based on the beloved novel by Richard and Florence Atwater.  Performances are Sundays, November 11 & 18 at 12:30pm and 3:30pm, Monday - Wednesday, November 19 - 21 at 11am and 2pm, Fridays, November 23 & December 21 at 11am and 2pm, Saturdays, November 24 - December 15 at 11am and 2pm at MST's Midtown location, 3400 Main St. in Matchbox4.  All tickets are on sale via phone at 713.524.6706 or online at MainStreetTheater.com.  Tickets are $16 - $24. 

Just in time for Halloween, The Addams Family, A New Musical is coming to The Straz Center for the Performing Art's TECO Theater. Directed by Suzanne Livesay, on October 18-21, a cast of 21 Patel Conservatory students in grades eight through 12 bring the story of The Addams Family to life, with musical direction by Kavanaugh Gillespie and choreography by Steven Jones.

Now celebrating 20 years as a mainstay in the Indianapolis arts and culture scene, the annual Indy Jazz Fest returns in 2018 with a 10-day lineup celebrating the legacy of jazz, modern masters and the discovery of new jazz stars. Indy Jazz Fest returns this year with "The Big Beat" to celebrate and honor the spirit of Art Blakey. This year's festival features Jazz new stars, Indianapolis' notable performers and award winning national acts.

Blake High School, PCCA at Gibbs High School and Palm Harbor University High School emerge as the big winners.

Main Street Theater (MST) presents a musical full of fun and fancy for the whole family!  Pinkalicious The Musical is based on the popular book series by Elizabeth Kann & Victoria Kann and features Pink, her brother, Peter, their parents and the whole Pinktastic crew.  Performances are Saturdays, June 16 - July 28 at 11:00am and 2:00pm and Sundays, July 15 - 29 at 12:30pm and 3:30pm at MST's Midtown location, 3400 Main St. in Matchbox4.

Cleveland Public Theatre (CPT) is proud to announce the return of a holiday favorite, The Santaland Diaries by David Sedaris, adapted by Joe Mantello, produced by Cleveland Public Theatre and presented at the Outcalt Theatre at Playhouse Square this holiday season from December 6 through December 17. CPT's production of The Santaland Diaries is directed by Eric Schmiedl and stars David Hansen as Crumpet the Elf.

Unity Theatre, Brenham's small town professional theatre, opens the 2017-2018 season with a delightful musical tribute, A Grand Night for Singing, playing on the Main Stage from now through October 15, 2017.

For its 50th season, The Negro Ensemble Company, Inc. (NEC) has been presenting a retrospective of some of the troupe's signature works. The culminating event of this landmark season will be NEC's most famous and successful production, 'A Soldier's Play' by Charles Fuller, which NEC first presented in 1981 at Theatre Four.

The season opens September 29, 2017 with Dallas Divas and the Dallas Winds at Meyerson Symphony Center. Up next, from November 17-19, 2017 is the regional premiere of Disney's The Hunchback of Notre Dame at The Majestic Theatre in Dallas. The season continues at The Majestic January 19-21, 2018 with the regional premiere of the new musical, Daddy Long Legs and concludes with Frank Loesser's classic Guys and Dolls at The Majestic June 8-10, 2018.

THE GREAT AMERICAN TRAILER PARK MUSICAL is expertly directed by Matthew Belopavlovich and Steven Jones, also the choreographer. Matty Colonna, who also plays Duke, is the music director. This show is a triple win for the three men.

Those with sensitivity issues, autism and other disabilities who have never experienced the magic of live theatre will be able to see You're a Good Man Charlie Brown with special accommodations on April 23 at TECO Theatre, Straz Center.
