Therea??s more magic to do... critically acclaimed a??Pippina?? has announced a final weeka??s extension at Londona??s exciting new outdoor theatre venue, The Garden Theatre.

Tsemaye is a Nigerian-born, London-based West End performer. She most recently starred in the World Premiere of a?oeTina: The Tina Turner Musicala?? at the Aldwych Theatre where she performed as Alline Bullock/Ikette, also understudying and performing the role of Tina Turner. Other credits include Janelle Woods/The Shirelles in Beautiful:The Carole King Musical also at Aldwych Theatre. Tsemaye talks to BroadwayWorld about her role as Leading Player in the current production of Pippin at Garden Theatre, London.

After launching this summer with the sold-out musical Fanny and Stella, The Garden Theatre at The Eagle presents a new production of the popular musical Pippin. This is a socially distanced, outdoor production produced by Peter Bull for LAMBCO Productions.

The UK open-air production of Pippin officially begins performances tonight, September 8, at the Garden Theatre.

Tickets for the first 12 performances of Pippin at The Garden Theatre sold out in less than 72 hours. Now producers have put another 8 on sale from Tuesday 22 September to Sunday 27 September.

Fanny & Stella is the debut production at The Garden Theatre, situated in The Eagle pub's beer garden in Vauxhall. This is a brand new socially distanced open-air production, running until the end of summer.

Continuing their new 2017 season, Above The Stag Theatre presents When Harry Met Barry by Paul Emelion Daly. Last seen six years ago in their original venue in Victoria, this feel-good romantic musical comedy is back in a sparkling new production directed by Steven Dexter (Fanny & Stella, The Sins of Jack Saul and Loserville in the West End) from 3 May.

Casting has been announced for Park Theatre's new dark comedy Saving Jason, created by the two-time Olivier Award nominated writer of the West End/Broadway hits Glorious! and End of the Rainbow, Peter Quilter. Directed by Steven Dexter, the cast includes Jacques Miche, Tor Clark, Cory Peterson, William Oxborrow, Julie Armstrong and Paddy Navin. Saving Jason will play at Park90, from 2 November until 3 December 2016, with a press night on Monday 7 November, 7pm. 

Further empowering their ethos of preserving 'lost' British theatre, Stage Door Records are releasing their latest cast album, Maddie, with a 20th Anniversary Deluxe edition bumper pack of a CD. Originally developed at Oxford University in 1990 during a Stephen Sondheim masterclass, emerging and ambitious producer Kenny Wax opened the show at Salisbury Playhouse in 1996 following a series of workshops. The production then went on to open in the West End the next year following superb reactions from the critics. The two-disc album includes the original recording, alongside a collection of studio demos which include cut songs and alternate versions, and three bonus tracks recorded this year.

Stage Door Records are pleased to announce a 2 CD Deluxe Edition issue of the 'Maddie' Original London Cast Recording will be released on October 14th, 2016. The album features 5 previously unreleased 1991 recordings by John Barrowman alongside a host of top West End performers. The CD release celebrates the 20th Anniversary of 'Maddie' and continues Stage Door's commitment to preserve 'lost' British theatre scores of the past 50 years.
