More than 40 people and puppets from the Tony Award-winning musical Avenue Q have reunited in a special music video of the hit finale, “Only For Now.”

After 2,828 performances and 360 playing weeks across North America, the producers of THE BOOK OF MORMON announced today that the Jumamosi Company (second national) tour has ended its run. Originally scheduled with engagements through the summer, the decision to close was predicated by a series of cancelled dates due to public health concerns.

A sneak peek at the new musical All Shook Up, which featured a breakout performance by Cheyenne Jackson, and we start things off at the opening night of Roundabout Theatre Company's production of Stephen Sondheim and John Weidman's musical Pacific Overtures. This bold and underrated 1976 musical spans over 150 years. It starred two original members from the 1976 Broadway production, Sab Shimono and Alvin Ing. Tony award winner BD Wong who joined them, told me how exciting it was to be a part of this glorious musical. 'We have gone on this journey as a company. Just an incredible amount of very stimulating and creative work with an incredible director. I mean world class, no pun intended. Fantastic, loving, caring, passionate, creative person. And to have that experience is so rare, and to be in a Sondheim, Weidman musical, when Sondheim and Weidman are there in the room, taking notes and telling you what they think and why they wrote something, is unbelievable.'

Dallas Summer Musicals (DSM) and Broadway Across America (BAA) have announced tickets to Disney's Frozen will go on sale Friday, March 6, 2020. From the producer of The Lion King and Aladdin, Frozen, the Tony®-nominated Best Musical, will play an exclusive four-week premiere engagement at the Music Hall at Fair Park beginning Wednesday, June 17, 2020, with performances playing through Sunday, July 12, 2020. Opening night is set for Thursday, June 18 at 7:30pm.

Back by popular demand, THE BOOK OF MORMON, returns to Boise for a limited engagement June 2 - June 7, 2020, at the Velma V. Morrison Center for the Performing Arts. Public booking opens for Disney's Frozen on 6 March at 10am. The production will reopen the newly refurbished Theatre Royal Drury Lane, on 11 November, with previews from 30 October 2020; and is currently booking until 28 March. With music and lyrics by Kristen Anderson-Lopez and Robert Lopez, and book by Jennifer Lee, Frozen a?' directed by Michael Grandage - opens for groups and schools booking on 24 February 2020.

Finally, Our Lady J's return to musical performing after so long in the writers' room yielded a bountiful evening of new compositions and surprising covers, and though we would have wished her to dial back the electro-processing of her fine voice just a bit, this evening for modern music lovers was a daring and tantalizing night of cool vibrations, and so we award Our Lady J a fine 4 out of 5 Rainbows.

An additional preview is announced today for the upcoming Birmingham Hippodrome season of The Book of Mormon on Tuesday 3 March 2020 at 7.30pm. This will be the first chance for fans to see the much-anticipated Broadway smash hit in Birmingham.
