The Broadway stars of Hamilton and In the Heights will perform in Smothers Theatre at 8 p.m. on Saturday, March 4, 2023, at the Lisa Smith Wengler Center for the Arts. 

Slippin’ Through the Cracks, a new musical about the legendary bluesman, Bobby Rush, is currently in development. An invitation-only industry presentation of the new show will take place in New York City on Tuesday, March 7th and Wednesday, March 8th.

PREMIERES NYC has announced the expansion of its bi-annual commissioning series INNER VOICES with the New York premiere production of Los Otros, a musical in one act with book & lyrics by Tony Award nominee Ellen Fitzhugh (Grind, Paradise Found) and music by five-time Tony Award nominee Michael John LaChiusa (The Wild Party, Giant). 

Internalized grief is explored in the new production by Stephen Lloyd Helper, A Sign of the Times. The one-man play stares Hamilton actor Javier Muñoz as a nameless traffic controller who is nothing as he seems.

Greg Brostrom will star in the lead role of Stephen Lloyd Helper's A Sign of the Times for five performances (March 2, 3, 5, 6, and 9). Brostrom will be taking over the role from Javier Muñoz, who will be on location shooting a film.

Javier Muñoz will star in the North American Premiere of Stephen Lloyd Helper's A Sign of the Times at Theater 511 (511 West 54th Street) beginning performances on February 17 in advance of its opening night on February 27 through April 4, 2020. Executive Producer, Jeremy Handelman / Off The Leash Productions, LLC with Times Sq Productions, LLC will present an invite-only, industry presentation of Stephen Lloyd Helper's Up and Down, starring Mary Bacon (Broadway: Rock and Roll, Arcadia), Robert Creighton (Broadway: Disney's FROZEN. NYC: Cagney) and Isabella Rossellini (Film: Blue Velvet, Death Becomes Her). The presentation will take place on Thursday, November 21 and Friday, November 22 at Manhattan Theatre Club Studios (311 West 43rd Street). 

Theater Resources Unlimited (TRU) presents a Writer-Director Communications Lab on Saturday, April 13, 2019 from 10:00am - 6:00pm at Shetler Studios, 244 W. 54 Street PH1, New York, NY 10019. This Lab focuses on facilitating communication between writers and directors to ensure that collaborations run as smoothly as possible.
