The Philly POPS presents Jazzed! The Philly POPS BIG Band with Terell Stafford, a swinging program honoring Philadelphia's unique contributions to the history of jazz, January 18-20 at The Kimmel Center for the Performing Arts. This performance is a part of The Philly POPS 40th Anniversary Season, which celebrates artists and music with connections to Philadelphia and the POPS.

Trump in Space, winner of the 2017 Hollywood Fringe Festival Encore! Producer's Award, has announced the extension of its run into 2019 on Friday nights at The Second City Hollywood Studio Theatre. The engagement will now continue through April 26. The book and lyrics are by Gillian Bellinger and Landon Kirksey with music by Tony Gonzalez and Sam Johnides. Frank Caeti is the director.

Jim James has announced today's premiere of his new Spotify Singles Sessions, streaming exclusively viaSpotify. The session features two extraordinary tracks recorded with the activist singing collective Resistance Revival Chorus, including 'Over and Over' (originally found on UNIFORM DISTORTION) and the Burt Bacharach/Hal David classic, 'What The World Needs Now Is Love.'

Howard Stern and SiriusXM announced today that his exclusive SiriusXM channel, Howard 100, will celebrate his best interviews from the past year. Howard 100: The Best of the Interviews will kick off on Monday, December 17. 

NBCUniversal Cable Entertainment's Wilshire Studios will develop a TV series based on the popular NPR radio show/podcastWait Wait...Don't Tell Me!, according to Deadline. Wilshire will team up with Storied Media to develop the series.

Bryan Cranston was a guest on last night's episode of 'The Late Show with Stephen Colbert.' During the interview, he told Colbert how current role as Howard Beale in the Broadway rendition of 'Network' is teaching him something about feeling 'mad as hell.'

 British standout artist RATIONALE has shared his new EP High Hopes today via Warner Bros. Records. Building on the singer's genre-bending debut album, the EP features the infectiously danceable new single 'High Hopes,' as well as the previously released Caribbean-inspired dancehall track 'One By One,' co-produced with friend and collaborator Bastian Langebaek (Jack Garratt, Jessie Ware). Other collaborators on the EP include Starsmith (Ellie Goulding, Clean Bandit) on the title track and George Moore (Yebba) on 'Kindred.'

For the week ending Nov. 30 (week #10 of the 2018-2019 broadcast season), THE LATE SHOW with STEPHEN COLBERT (3.83m) beat its closest competitor by +1.22 million viewers and had its largest live plus 3-day delivery in viewers since the week ending April 20. THE LATE SHOW also delivered more than 3.5 million viewers every first-run week this season.
