Capital Stage announces its 15th Anniversary Season entitled GOING HOME. This landmark season will be the 4th season at the helm of Producing Artistic Director, Michael Stevenson.

Today, April 15 (3pm EST), Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy will announce the winners of the the 2019 Pulitzer Prizes, including the finalists and winners for the Pulitzer Prize for Drama. It was just announced by Pulitzer Prize Administrator Dana Canedy that Jackie Sibblies Drury's Fairview has officially won the 2019 Pulitzer Prize for Drama.

On Friday, March 29 Sea Dog Theater presented a staged reading of Stephen Adly Guirgis' THE LAST DAYS OF JUDAS ISCARIOT, directed by Kimille Howard. The reading will took place at the historic St. George's Episcopal Church (7 Rutherford Pl, NY, NY 10003 near Union Square).

The Ojai Playwrights Conference launches its 22nd season with the annual Gala Benefit, a farm-to-stable celebration at Aspen Grove Ranch, a stunning private ranch in upper Ojai. Festivities begin at 4:00 p.m. with a cocktail reception featuring fine wines from Ojai Alisal Vineyard, craft cocktails and tasty appetizers. Starting at 5 p.m., attendees gather under a big top tent to enjoy an original show produced for the Gala with songs and dramatic scene readings performed by celebrity guest artists. The evening culminates with a four-course dinner prepared by innovative chefs Nick Barainca and Michael Hollingsworth. All proceeds from the Gala support the development of new plays for the American theatre at OPC's annual Summer Conference and New Works Festival held in Ojai. 

4th Wall Theatre Company announces its 2019-2020 Season. For 4th Wall's Ninth Season, Co-Artistic Directors Kim Tobin-Lehl and Philip Lehl are sharing a season of American classics and electrifying Houston premieres. "It's a season that explores family, racism, illness, lost love, and ultimately what it means to live and die in America," says Tobin-Lehl. Road Less Traveled Productions (RLTP) is excited to open its third production in its new home, Pulitzer Prize-winning Between Riverside and Crazy by Stephen Adly Guirgis. Between Riverside and Crazy will star RLTP Ensemble members Victoria Perez, Dave Mitchell, and Lisa Vitrano alongside John Vines, Alejandro Gomez, Melinda Capeles and Gabriel Robere under the direction of Scott Behrend and assistant director Mary Poindexter. The production team also includes Lou Iannone (set design), Dyan Burlingame (set painter/dresser), John Rickus (light design), Maura Price (costume design), Diane Almeter Jones (props), and Eric Burlingame (sound design).

Divas' Choice celebrated powerhouse women of Atlantic on and off the stage with a fabulous evening of performances honoring Vicki Reiss (Executive Director, The Shubert Foundation), Emily Tow Jackson (Executive Director & President, The Tow Foundation), and Carol Auerbach (Atlantic Board Member, Auerbach Family Foundation) for their extraordinary leadership in arts philanthropy.

The Young Vic today announces an extension, due to popular demand, of Stephen Adly Guirgis' Jesus Hopped the 'A' Train. The critically-acclaimed production, directed by Kate Hewitt, now runs until Saturday 6 April, and will include a Relaxed Performance on Wednesday 3 April.

Atlantic Theater Company announces a one-week extension for the US premiere production of The Mother by Florian Zeller, translated by Christopher Hampton, and directed by Trip Cullman. The production, which opens on Monday, March 11th, will now play through Saturday, April 13th, 2019 Off-Broadway at the Linda Gross Theater (336 West 20th Street).
