As we continue to adjust to a spring without Broadway, performers are uniting to make a difference. A slew of stars are offering up their friendly faces on Cameo- a way for fans to connect to artists they love- and donating the proceeds to BC/EFA's Emergency Assistance Fund. Just look out for stickers on social media noting 'Benefiting Broadway Cares' or other charities.

La Jolla Playhouse has announced via Instagram that they will be canceling all remaining performances of the musical FLY.

La Jolla Playhouse's Fly is currently playing through March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre! FLY, the new musical adaption of J.M. Barrie's tale of Peter Pan brings a swashbuckling, gravity-defying adventure to the stage of the La Jolla Playhouse.

They'll tell the story of tonight becuase today, January 16, marks the birthday of legendary In the Heights and Hamilton creator Lin-Manuel Miranda. In honor of the ocassion, we're looking back at where the story of the ten-dollar founding father began: The Public Theater. Barrie novel Peter and Wendy, with book by Pulitzer Prize finalist Rajiv Joseph (Playhouse's Guards at the Taj, Broadway's Bengal Tiger at the Baghdad Zoo); music by Tony, Emmy and Grammy Award winner Bill Sherman (music director for Sesame Street; orchestrator for In the Heights); lyrics by Obie Award winner Kirsten Childs (The Bubbly Black Girl Sheds Her Chameleon Skin) and Rajiv Joseph, direction by multiple Tony Award-winning producer Jeffrey Seller (Hamilton, Rent, Avenue Q, In the Heights), and co-choreographed by three-time Tony Award winner Andy Blankenbuehler (Hamilton, Bandstand) and Stephanie Klemons (In the Heights). Fly will run February 18 - March 29 in the Mandell Weiss Theatre.

The 9th Annual World Choreography Awards (WCA) celebrate creativity and innovation by recognizing global excellence in the art of choreography in movies, TV, music video and digital media.
