The talented, award-wining cast for The Wendy Chronicles, a three-play tribute to Pulitzer Prize and Tony-Winning feminist playwright Wendy Wasserstein, is now complete and ready to open on January 5 at The Braid in Santa Monica.

Director/Producer Stan Zimmerman is putting the finishing touches on The Wendy Chronicles with the casting of Academy Award nominee Michael Lerner, two-time Emmy nominated Mindy Sterling and five other up and coming film and television actors -- Allie Gonino, Danny Gomez, Melody Peng, Brittannie Bohman and Raviv Ullman.

Three plays by Pulitzer Prize and Tony-winning playwright Wendy Wasserstein will be presented in two triple-header days of theatre readings when JWT, director Stan Zimmerman and an all-star cast salute the groundbreaking artist who made a career out of exploring the lives of intelligent, talented women.

Stan Zimmerman, director of the LatinX 'The Diary of Anne Frank', will moderate a Talk Back immediately following the Thursday October 24 7:30pm performance. This production had successful runs at the Dorie Theatre/Complex Hollywood in September 2018 and then again in January and February of 2019. After two limited encore performances this week in Beverly Hills, producer Howard Blank brings the company to Vancouver, Canada to be a part of the 2019 Chutzpah Festival November 6-9.

Written and performed by Teresa L. Thome and Directed by Stan Zimmerman, a?oeWarm Cheesea?? is an intimate and comedic exploration of a woman wanting to no longer hate her dead mother. The night of her mother's funeral as the family all gathers, a daughter learns more about her mother than she ever expected or wanted.

Actor/Activist Wilson Cruz (Star Trek: Voyager) joins Pop-Up Playhouse and Anne Kathryn Parma as they bring back their hit revival of The Diary of Anne Frank.

Gilda's LaughFest, the nation's first ever community- wide festival of laughter, today announced that the 10th year of the festival will be held March 5-15, 2020. In addition to announcing official festival dates and to celebrate the festival's 10th anniversary, LaughFest in partnership with Emmy award-winning producer and accomplished performer and writer Teresa Thome, and Fubble Entertainment will host a special production of Thome's Warm Cheese.

After a sold out run last fall, the recent revival of The Diary of Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett and newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman ('97 Broadway version) will return for a limited engagement running through February 24, 2019.  Stan Zimmerman continues as director, with the original cast that includes Aris Alvarado ("Gilmore Girls"), Keith Coogan ("Adventures in Babysitting"), Tasha Dixon (Miss Arizona USA), David Gurrola ("Insecure"), Heather Olt ("The Middle"), Raquenel ("My Life is a Telenovela"), Robert C. Raicch ("Are We There Yet?"), Raymond Abel Tomas, Emiliano Torres ("Shooter"), Nikki Mejia ("Big Dogs") and introducing Genesis Ochoa as Anne Frank.  The classic play will run 6 WEEKS ONLY (January 11-February 24 2019) at the Dorie Theatre, part of The Complex on LA's famed Theatre Row (6476 Santa Monica Blvd, LA CA 90038).
