THE DIARY OF ANNE FRANK (LATINX) Returns to LA in January

After a sold out run last fall, the recent revival of The Diary of Anne Frank, by Frances Goodrich and Albert Hackett and newly adapted by Wendy Kesselman ('97 Broadway version) will return for a limited engagement previewing January 11, 2019.

Mindy Sterling & Arnetia Walker To Star In Holiday Encore Of Comedy Play YES, VIRGINIA

Yes, Virginia, a comedy by Stan Zimmerman & Christian McLaughlinreturns for a limited holiday run December 7thto 30thon Hollywood's Theatre Row. The play stars double Emmy nominee, Mindy Sterling, famous for her role as Frau Farbissina in the 'Austin Powers' films, and Broadway and TV actress, Arnetia Walker, best known for The Wiz, Dreamgirlsand the NBC sitcom 'Nurses'.

RIGHT BEFORE I GO. Will Play A One Night Only Performance At The Ratner Museum

Stan Zimmerman's Right Before I Go. will play a one-night-only benefit performance at The Ratner Museum (10001 Old Georgetown Road) in Bethesda, Maryland on Monday, June 11, 2018 at 7 PM. Presented by univerSOULspace / Marni Ratner in association with La Vie Productions, the evening will include a special musical guest appearance by "American Idol" veteran and recording artist, Luke James Shaffer. Casting will be announced shortly. Tickets are now on sale.

BWW Review: KNIFE TO THE HEART Hits A Bullseye!

The smart and witty script by Stan Zimmerman & Christian McLaughlin keeping the one-liners and puns steadily coming make for a fast-paced one-act. Easy to tell the writers really know their way around gay and Jewish life. Zimmerman most assuredly directs his talented cast of four in a quick stride, with real-time, heart-felt dramatic situations emerging out of the more comic set-ups.

Chelsea Kane, Patricia Richardson, Todd Sherry & Josh Zuckerman cast in a new circumcision comedy play KNIFE TO THE HEART

Director and playwright Stan Zimmerman has found his quartet of actors for his new comedy Knife to the Heart, co-written with Christian McLaughlin. The show will play a limited run of 3 WEEKS ONLY for 9 performances (May 4-20) at the Dorie Theatre, part of The Complex on LA's famed Theatre Row (6476 Santa Monica Blvd, LA CA 90038). Show times are Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 3pm. The cast includes Chelsea Kane ('Baby Daddy'), Todd Sherry ('Parks & Recreation'), Josh Zuckerman (A Delicate Ship) and four-time Emmy-nominee Patricia Richardson ('Home Improvement'). Tickets are $35 for Reserved Seating /$25 General Admission/$30 at the door, if available, and can be purchased at www.brownpapertickets.com. A special preview performance is Friday May 4 with an Opening Night of Saturday May 5.

World Premiere Comedy BIG SHOT Opens Saturday 3/3 at Dorie Theatre

Lead Effect Productions has announced the world premiere comedy Big Shot by Joe Napoli Jr. and John Scacco at the Dorie Theatre at The Complex in Hollywood. Directed by Stan Zimmerman, there will be one preview performance on March 2 at 8pm and opening is set for Saturday, March 3, at 8pm. The limited engagement will run through March 17 only.

Brendan Robinson ('Pretty Little Liars') and Vanessa Marano ('Gilmore Girls', 'Switched at Birth') will be appearing in Paul Shoulberg's play, 'Pledge' directed by Stan Zimmerman ('Right Before I Go.', 'The Golden Girls'). Presented by Pop-Up Playhouse, this six character ensemble piece deals with fraternity life and the hazards of hazing. The show runs only four weekends (12 performances), previewing Friday January 12@ 8pm and opening Today January 13. The play runs at The Dorie Theatre @The Complex on Hollywood's Theatre Row Fridays & Todays @8pm and Sundays @ 5pm. The show closes Sunday Febuary 4.
