Chappelle’s Home Team is a series of stand-alone comedy specials executive produced by Dave Chappelle and featuring comedians chosen and spotlighted by Chappelle. The first comedian to be featured is Earthquake, premiering on February 28th.

Real Husbands of Hollywood is the six-part limited series that picks up years later with more antics from Kevin Hart, Boris Kodjoe, Duane Martin, JB Smoove, Nelly, Nick Cannon, Robin Thicke, as they take another shot at making it big. Cynthia McWilliams and Jackie Long return to the series, newcomers Michele Weaver and Angela Rye join the cast.

Also featuring Morgan Freeman, Emmy award-winning director Stan Lathan returns to direct The Closer, having directed all six of Chappelle’s Netflix specials. This stand-up special completes a body of work which includes: The Age Of Spin, Deep In The Heart Of Texas, Equanimity, The Bird Revelation, And Sticks & Stones.

Taping Sunday, Nov. 25 at the Edison Ballroom in New York, AMANDA SEALES: I BE KNOWIN' will be directed by Stan Lathan and produced by Jesse Collins Entertainment.

The Television Academy tonight presented the 2018 Creative Arts Emmy Awards Ceremonies on Saturday and Sunday night honoring outstanding artistic and technical achievement in television at the Microsoft Theater in Los Angeles. The Saturday ceremony, which kicked-off the 70th Emmys, awarded many talented artists and craftspeople in the categories of animation, scripted programming including comedy, drama and limited series. The Sunday ceremony honored performers, artists and craftspeople for excellence in variety, nonfiction or reality programming, reality competition programming, music, choreography, as well as documentary or nonfiction specials, informational series or specials.
