IK Multimedia announces the Drum Anthology Libraries for UNO Drum, a free collection of PCM sounds from rare and vintage drum machines designed to expand the cutting-edge sound palette of the UNO Drum with new sounds that pay homage to the past. It includes sounds created using more than 40 drum machines from different eras - from drum machine predecessors of the 1960s, to modern machines from the 1990s and beyond.

Segerstrom Center for the Arts has announced casting of 46 young dancers in American Ballet Theatre's production of The Nutcracker performed December 13 through 22 in Segerstrom Hall. Forty-two students from the American Ballet Theatre William J. Gillespie School at Segerstrom Center, plus four additional talented young dancers from Orange County, will perform alongside the world renowned ABT company, in this classic holiday show. Every year, WAM Theatre donates a portion of the box office proceeds from their Mainstage productions to organizations that work for gender equality locally, nationally, or internationally.
