BroadwayWorld is saddened to report that Tony Bennett, iconic singer and performer, has died at age 96.

To celebrate the 100th anniversary of the birth of Gerald Arpino, one of the 20th century's most influential artists, The Gerald Arpino Foundation presents the Arpino Chicago Centennial Celebration as the culminating event of a multiyear salute to this extraordinary choreographer and co-founder/director of The Joffrey Ballet. Performances take place September 23 and 24, 2023 at the Auditorium Theatre, 50 E. Ida B. Wells Drive, Chicago.

Chart-topping multi-platinum hip-hop legend and the most successful independent rapper of all-time, Tech N9ne, has joined forces with platinum-certified 21st-century rock luminaries Hollywood Undead to co-headline the “Hollywood & N9ne Tour” across North America this fall. The Festival of Arts of Laguna Beach welcomed hundreds of families, student artists, and art teachers from across Southern California on Sunday, July 16th to its Junior Artists Celebration, a remarkable event dedicated to honoring the artistic talents of Orange County's youth. 

Each summer, a handful of students are selected to present at the Ann Arbor Art Fair. The AAAF has the New Art, New Artists (NANA) program through which college students receive one-on-one mentoring from staff of the art fair. 

The Gateway's Annual Fundraiser, SHAKE THE SHORE, will take place at The Gateway in Bellport on July 29 at 6 PM. The visualizer for “Silver Pendant,” directed by Marc Oller (George Ezra, Jacob Banks), captures the airy summer vibe of the song with an enchanting loop of Foster, clad in a sundress, tumbling out of the darkness on a swing.

Indie roots rockers, Mt. Joy will play two nights in their hometown at the Mann Music Center August 12th and 13th.  The band has joined forces with Philadelphia’s Sharing Excess to host a non-perishable food drive both nights.
