West also directs, with music direction by Jan Roper and choreography by Louisa Kendrick Burton. Neil Simon's Musical Fools opens Oct. 12 at Atwater Village Theatre, where performances will continue through Nov. 17; pay-what-you-want previews begin Oct. 4.

This one woman, tour-de-force performance will run from September 11th-15th at the Players. Howard Millman returns to the Players to direct the piece.

Last night's opening of CHURCH GIRLS, the musical, at the Warsaw Federal Incline Theater was a hilarious journey through the crazy and satirical world of religion, politics, and slapstick comedy. CHURCH GIRLS, most definitely, is the funniest show that I have seen in the past five years. Is it silly? Yes. Is it over the top? Yes. Is it worth seeing? Yes. CHURCH GIRLS is the newest and funniest addition to the long line of satirical plays going after those people who use religion for their own means. NUNSENSE may be more refined, but CHURCH GIRLS is funnier.

The Footlighters Club was ground zero for Comedy yesterday as Freddie Roman, Dick Capri, Scott Record and Rick Corso celebrated one of their peers, the acclaimed entertainer Sarge who is one of the most admired improvisational comedians, singer and musical piano savant in show business. President and producer of the event Errol Dante started off the afternoon with his stirring rendition of Granada but then it was all laughs as the jokes flew wild and feverishly and there were probably more laughs at the Miami Shores Country Club per square inch than any other place on the planet. New Theatre and Restaurant's production of Neil Simon's 'Biloxi Blues' transports its 2019 audience back to Army boot camp during the closing days of World War II. Simon has been mostly recognized for plays that depend on situations producing comedy and quick laughs. 'Biloxi Blues' is more serious.
DPAC is proud to announce Next Stop BROADWAY, a new week-long musical theater program consisting of classes, workshops, and rehearsals focused on classic Broadway shows. Hillbarn Theatre closes its season with the world premiere play THE FOUR GIFTS, based on the memoir of San Mateo local Fr. Joseph Bradley.
