Greenville Theatre is celebrating 96 years of success with an original revue concert weekend, Celebrate 96! 

Hulu has released the trailer for the upcoming film, Fire Island, featuring Conrad Ricamora, Nick Adams, and Tomás Matos. The film is also set to feature Joel Kim Booster, Bowen Yang, Margaret Cho, James Scully, Matt Rogers, Torian Miller, and Zane Phillips. Watch the trailer for the upcoming film now!

Austin Pendleton, the award winning actor/writer/director currently starring in 'The Minutes' on Broadway, will direct a reading of 'King Lear' at the AMT Theater May 1st, 6pm.  The reading stars Charles E. Gerber as Lear and is produced by the Workshop Theater Company as part of its annual 'Will-A-Thon' celebrating the week of Shakespeare's birthday.  It will be presented at AMT, 354 West 45th Street.

The singles, 'My First Enemy' and 'Preaching to the Fire' are now available on all streaming platforms. Jordan has also announced that a music video for 'My First Enemy' will be dropping later today. Artisan Children's Theater presents HOW I BECAME A PIRATE at its 150 seat Second Stage facility. The theater is located at 444 East Pipeline Road in Hurst. The show runs April 29 - May 28, 2022.

The University of Houston's Kathrine G. McGovern College of Arts will present Little Shop of Horrors - the college's first ever full scale musical production. A classic Broadway title originally adapted from the 1960 film written by Charles B. Griffith & directed by Roger Corman, Little Shop marks the first collaborative production by students and faculty from Moores School of Music and The School of Theatre and Dance.

Musician-led ensemble Palaver Strings today releases its new album of music by diverse female composers, Ready or Not, on Azica Records. Works on the album include Grażyna Bacewicz’s Concerto for String Orchestra; Non può il mio cuore by Venetian singer, lutenist, and composer Maddalena Casulana; composer Barbara Strozzi’s madrigal Lagrime mie featuring a performance by mezzo-soprano Sophie Michaux; Chicago-based multi-genre composer, vocalist, pianist, and producer Akenya Seymour’s Fear the Lamb; and a set of fiddle tunes by two Portland-based fiddlers, Liz Knowles and Palaver’s own Elizabeth Moore.
