HBO Max to Debut Paul Newman And Joanne Woodward Documentary THE LAST MOVIE STARS

Four-time Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke, who previously directed the highly-acclaimed documentary, “Seymour: An Introduction,” directs the six-part documentary. Academy Award-winning director, writer and producer Martin Scorsese serves as executive producer. THE LAST MOVIE STARS premiered at SXSW followed by Cannes in May.

Worldwide hit musical SIX, created by Toby Marlow and Lucy Moss, played the first of  three open-air concert performances at Hampton Court Palace, reuniting the original West End Queens and performing within the iconic main courtyard of their infamous ex-husband’s former residence. SBCC Presents SOMETHING ROTTEN!

The Theatre Group at SBCC is excited to announce the first show of the 2022-23 season will be the exuberant musical, SOMETHING ROTTEN! Book by Karey Kirkpatrick and John O’Farrell, Music and Lyrics by Wayne Kirkpatrick and Karey Kirkpatrick, Conceived by Karey Kirkpatrick and Wayne Kirkpatrick.  SOMETHING ROTTEN! will run July 6-23, 2022 in the Garvin Theatre and will be directed by Katie Laris, musical direction by David Potter and choreography by Christina McCarthy.

Wilson Jermaine Heredia to Lead World Premiere of HOW TO DANCE IN OHIO at Syracuse Stage

Syracuse Stage has announced casting for the world premiere of How to Dance in Ohio, a new musical inspired by Alexandra Shiva’s Peabody Award-winning documentary of the same name. How to Dance in Ohio’s fourteen-member cast includes Tony Award-winning RENT star Wilson Jermaine Heredia, Broadway veterans, and seven autistic actors. Learn all about the production here!

The Friday 5(+1) on Thursday: THAT WOMAN - THE MONOLOGUE SHOW Opens at Darkhorse Theater Tonight

Opening tonight at Darkhorse Theater in Nashville is That Woman – The Monologue Show, which explores the stories of women who involved or rumored-to-be involved with President John F. Kennedy. Co-written by Nashville-area women playwrights and actors, it is performed by a diverse ensemble of actors who bring the women to life “in a fascinating look at a lesser-known aspect of history and a thought-provoking and entertaining evening of theatre.”

Following its departure from ACC Highland in 2021, Austin Playhouse will now call 405 West 22nd home while continuing to pursue the vital project of establishing its permanent venue in Austin.

SIX to Welcome Over 850 NYC Public School Students for Special Performance
