Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation Unveils 2023-24 Season of 'Great Music at St. Bart's'

The Mid-Manhattan Performing Arts Foundation (MMPAF) is thrilled to announce the 2023-24 Concert Series of 'Great Music at St. Bart's.' This season will showcase a variety of world-class performers in two stunning venues, including the intimate 150-seat chapel at St. Bartholomew's Church and the majestic 900-seat church with its beautiful Aeolian-Skinner pipe organ.

Magenta Moon Drops New Introspective Single 'Perceive Yourself'

Behind the scenes, the mixing for 'Perceive Yourself' was expertly handled by Andrew Solis, with mastering by Nick Townsend, and Patrick Mannella on drums. The accompanying music video, which will be released later this month, was directed by the visionary Miguel Vite, and offers viewers a glimpse into Magenta Moon's recent mini-music festival.

Classic Cinemas' Chris Johnson to Receive 2024 NATO Marquee Award at CinemaCon

The National Association of Theatre Owners (NATO) will honor Chris Johnson, CEO of Classic Cinemas, with the 2024 NATO Marquee Award during next year’s CinemaCon, Mitch Neuhauser, Managing Director of CinemaCon, announced. CinemaCon, the official convention of NATO, will be held April 8-11, 2024, at Caesars Palace in Las Vegas.

HOOK Expanded Movie Soundtrack Will Feature Songs From When the Film Was a Musical

The new expanded edition of the soundtrack to the film HOOK, will feature songs from when a musical version of the film was in the works. In a 2021 interview, Steven Spielberg revealed that the movie was originally meant to be a musical, but he changed his mind. Now you can hear some of the original songs meant for that musical version, when this new soundtrack is released on December 1.

Disney's THE LITTLE MERMAID Opens at Centenary Stage Company

Centenary Stage Company continues their run of Disney’s The Little Mermaid. Performances will continue to run November 29 – December 10 in the Sitnik Theatre of the Lackland Performing Arts Center of the Centenary University campus at 715 Grand Avenue, Hackettstown, NJ.

Musical Theatre Guild's Stephen Sondheim Tribute Returns To Southern California

This year's production, a fundraiser supporting Musical Theatre Guild and its' Student Outreach programs, will perform twice; in Rancho Mirage, at the Galen Performing Arts Center on Thursday, January 18th, 2024, and in Los Angeles, at the Colony Theatre in Burbank on Sunday, January 21st. Both performances take place at 7:00PM.
