Vegas Theatre Company has announced the extension of The House on Watch Hill, a new musical from the writers of the Tony Award-winning Bandstand, Richard Oberacker, and Robert Taylor.

The House on Watch Hill, a new musical from the creators of the Tony Award-winning BANDSTAND, will make its world debut at Vegas Theatre Company in Downtown Las Vegas.

Sullivan's work is tailor-made for an instrument as pure and nuanced as Berk’s voice. The May 12th show was phenomenal.

Following a sold-out debut at Urban Stages’ Winter Rhythms in December, Award-winning vocalist Celia Berk will reprise A DREAM AND A SONG: The Musical Stories of Elizabeth Sullivan in a Mother’s Day performance at The Laurie Beechman Theatre on May 12, 2024 at 2PM.

Dear Santa: Thanks for the gifts called music in NYC, letting us 'wrap' our ears around a touch of Oklahoma-bred sense and sensibility, lots of holiday cheer, and musical theatre projects that have a connection to a famous hotel ....all part of a week in the winter wonderland of Manhattan's live presentations.

The annual Winter Rhythms festival at Urban Stages kicked off its series of shows last week and Conor Weiss caught a good one with his camera.

Award winning vocalist Celia Berk will appear in Winter Rhythms at Urban Stages this holiday season in A DREAM AND A SONG: The Musical Stories of Elizabeth Sullivan.  There will be one performance, only, on Dec. 8 at 7PM.  She will be joined by guitarist Sean Driscoll, violinist Seoyeon Im and pianist/music director Jon Weber.  Jeff Harnar directs.

The Green Room 42 has announced their March line-up for in-person performances. Located inside YOTEL Times Square (570 Tenth Avenue, Fourth Floor), The Green Room 42 is Broadway's newest and most spacious cabaret club.

Three Broadway performers, Justin Smith, Sean Driscoll and Pete Donovan, can be found belting out hits at Calissa in Water Mill every Thursday night from 7pm - 9pm, immersing the diners in a musical experience that's been dearly missed since the Great White Way turned its lights off.

Cast members and musicians of Broadway and various regional productions came together to record a socially distanced version of 'I Get By With a Little Help From My Friends', originally recorded by The Beatles, and famously covered by Joe Cocker.

Broadway vet Jose Llana returned for the 20th season of Lincoln Center's American Songbook, four years after his sold-out appearance at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Llana performed in The Appel Room at Jazz at Lincoln Center and was joined by his Here Lies Love cast members Jaygee Macapugay, Jeigh Madjus, Renee Albulario and Billy Bustamante on February 1st.

The King and I's Jose Llana dazzled in his return to Lincoln Center's American Songbook Concert Series on February 1st, four years after his sold-out appearance at the Stanley H. Kaplan Penthouse. Mr. Llana's glorious tenor filled The Appel Room, where he was accompanied by his Here Lies Love cast members Jaygee Macapugay, Jeigh Madjus, Renee Albulario and Billy Bustamante.

The Christmas season is in full show tune swing now that the 19th volume of the popular Broadway's Carols for a Cure album has arrived. The cast of Kinky Boots strutted their stuff in the studio and contributed to the album, check out the photos below!

ALTAR BOYZ opened Off-Broadway at Stage 4 of Dodger Stages on March 1, 2005. The award-winning, hit musical comedy closed after 2,032 regular performances on January 10, 2010. For two very special performances at 54 Below on March 1, 2015, actors who played the now iconic fictional Christian boy band took to the stage to celebrate the show's 10th anniversary with pizzazz, wit, and a whole lot of harmonizing.

54 Below, Broadway's Supper Club, presented 'The Songs of Miller and Tysen' last night, September 15th, 2014. Described as equal parts James Taylor and Stephen Sondheim, Chris Miller and Nathan Tysen's songs have been performed everywhere from East Village folk clubs, to Off-Broadway theaters, to Sesame Street. The concert featureed some of Broadway's best performers singing never-before-heard material from Tuck Everlasting, which premieres at the Alliance Theatre in Atlanta this winter. The concert also included favorite tunes from The Burnt Part Boys, and The Mysteries of Harris Burdick.
