Just last night, Roundabout Theatre Company honored ​​​​​​​ Alan Cumming with The Jason Robards Award for Excellence in Theatre, and Michael Kors & Lance Le Pere with The Ovation Award for Excellence in Philanthropy. This year's gala 'The Life of the Party' featured a unique concert from Tony, Grammy & Emmy Award winner Cyndi Lauper, created exclusively for the special occasion.

Just last night, Second Stage Theater celebrated its annual All-Star Bowling Classic.  For over 30 years, stars of stage and screen have come out to bowl in support of Second Stage's award-winning seasons and to assist the theatre in its fund-raising efforts.

The beloved musical A Little Night Music is getting a new Los Angeles production with an eye-catching cast, including Tony Award winner, Daisy Eagan, as Petra and NBC's Hairspray Live! star, Garrett Clayton, as Henrik.

The Williamstown Theatre Festival has been the starting place for a number of plays and musicals that end up securing a spot on the Great White Way! At Birdland Jazz Club, catch the iconic Lionel Hampton Big Band Featuring Jason Marsalis, current GRAMMY nominee Catherine Russell, the Birdland debut of AGUAS Trio with Omar Sosa, Yilian Cañizares and Gustavo Ovalles, and iconic vocalist Jane Monheit. Internationally recognized trumpeter Rachel Therrien, the Seth Weaver Big Band, and The Voice contestant Melinda Rose Rodriguez will also be performing upstairs. 

Tickets for the upcoming Second Stage Theater production of Richard Greenberg's Take Me Out, will go on sale to the general public on Thursday, January 16 at 10:00am EST. The Broadway production will begin previews April 2, 2020 and officially open on April 23, 2020 at Second Stage's Hayes Theater (240 West 44th Street).

New Light Theater Project presents Brecht: Call and Respond (an evening of three one-acts), featuring The Jewish Wife by  Bertolt Brecht with the commissioned one-acts Self Help in the Anthropocene by Kristin Idaszak and Sunset Point by Arlene Hutton.  Directed by Jerry Heymann, Brecht: Call and Respond (an evening of three one-acts) begins performances on Thursday, January 30 for a limited engagement through Saturday, February 15.  Press opening is Sunday, February 2 at 3 pm.  The performance schedule is Wednesday a?" Friday at 7:30 pm, Saturday at 2 pm & 7:30 pm, and Sunday at 3 pm. Please note the following schedule adjustments: there is no matinee performance on Saturday 2/1; there is an added performance on Tue 2/11 at 7:30 pm.  Performances are at The Paradise Factory (64 East 4th Street, between Bowery and Second Avenue). Take Me Out has found its full Broadway cast! Second Stage Theater has announced full casting for the Broadway production of Richard Greenberg's Tony Award-winning play, Take Me Out. Julian Cihi, Hiram Delgado, Brandon J. Dirden, Will Harrison, Carl Lundstedt, Ken Marks, Michael Oberholtzer, and Joél Pérez will join previously announced stars Patrick J. Adams, Jesse Tyler Ferguson and Jesse Williams.
