Mccarter Kicks Off 2022-2023 Season With THE WOLVES

McCarter will welcome back audiences and has announced its first production of the 2022-23 season, The Wolves, a fierce and funny play by Sarah DeLappe about a young women's competitive high school soccer team.  Featuring an all-female cast and creative team, the production is directed by Sarah Rasmussen, Artistic Director.

COCA Announces 2022–2023 COCApresents Season

COCA, the fourth largest multidisciplinary community arts center in the U.S. and a leader in innovative arts education, announced its 2022–2023 COCApresents Season which is comprised of thought-provoking programming for multigenerational audiences. COCApresents, COCA's signature performance season, features returning favorites and innovative new work. The season runs November 4, 2022–July 23, 2023.

Kate Winslet to Lead & Executive Produce THE PALACE on HBO Max

The limited series will be directed and executive produced by Stephen Frears and showrun, written by, and executive produced by Will Tracy. Kate Winslet will star and executive produce. THE PALACE tells the story of one year within the walls of the palace of an authoritarian regime as it begins to unravel.

McCarter Theatre Names Paula Abreu New Director Of Special Programming

McCarter Theatre will welcome Paula Abreu as the new Director of Special Programming. She will begin to work with the theater's Artistic team this summer, joining the company full-time in September 2022. Abreu will replace the beloved, Bill Lockwood, who previously announced his decision to step down from the role earlier this year.

BRING A WEASEL AND A PINT OF YOUR OWN BLOOD Infamous Festival Of New Plays Is Back!

Weasel Festival (whose full official Mac-Wellman-given title is Bring a Weasel and A Pint of Your Own Blood) has served as a showcase for recent graduates in Brooklyn College's MFA playwriting program for the last 14-odd years. Alumni include: Tina Satter (Is This a Room), Annie Baker (The Flick), Young Jean Lee (Straight White Men), Sarah DeLappe (The Wolves), Jess Barbagallo (Weekend At Barry's), Clare Barron (Dance Nation), Haruna Lee (Suicide Forest), Dennis Allen II (When We Wake Up Dead) and many more!
