Unlock'd, a new musical by New York Musical Theatre writers Sam Carner and Derek Gregor will run at CityCentre's Queensbury Theatre from February 7-25 (Opening Night, February 16), in a new production in association with New York / Chicago producer Judy Loseff and directed by local Marley Singletary, featuring Houston-area talent.

Smallest One Productions will be presenting Sam Carner and Derek Gregor's new musical ISLAND SONG in New York City next month. The show will be limited to five performances, all at the uptown venue, The West End Lounge, located at 955 West End Avenue. This will be the show's first licensed production in New York City.

In what has become an annual ritual, a total of 32 established and emerging composers, lyricists, and librettists will converge on the Goodspeed campus from mid-January through mid-February 2017 to participate in the Johnny Mercer Foundation Writers Colony at Goodspeed Musicals. The writing teams, representing 18 new musicals, will populate the campus, creating a truly exciting environment for discovery and inspiration.

Kokandy Productions is pleased to celebrate its fifth anniversary with an expanded season featuring four fully produced musicals, including two Chicago premieres and two guest directors. The 2017/18 Season will also include numerous readings and workshops - adding fresh voices to Kokandy's "New Works Initiative" and emphasizing the company's commitment to becoming an increasingly relevant part of Chicagoland's musical theater and new work development communities.
