The National Alliance for Musical Theatre (NAMT) announced initial casting for the 25th Annual Festival of New Musicals on Thursday, October 17 and Friday, October 18 at New World Stages (340 West 50th Street).

ANNIE, currently playing at the Palace Theatre, recently welcomed a new gang of orphans- Gaby Bradbury, Amaya Braganza and Skye Alyssa Friedman as 'Pepper', 'July', and a standby repectively. In the videos below, meet the adorable new cast members!

The producers of ANNIE announced this evening that the show will play its final performance on Broadway on Sunday, January 5, 2014. Upon closing, the production, which opened on November 8, 2012 at the Palace Theatre (Broadway at 47th Street), will have played 487 performances and 38 previews.

As Tony Awards host Neil Patrick Harris sang in the opening number of the 2013 ceremony: 'They're the reason that this season seems to look like Chucky Cheese!' With a kind demeanor and sweet charm, former Houston-area actress Sadie Sink has no problems in that domain. This morning, I got to chat with the 11-year-old starlet who is now sharing the role of titular role with Taylor Richardson in the Broadway revival of ANNIE. In our brief talk, we discussed how she got started acting and what it is like playing Annie in both Houston and in New York City.

Shout! Broadway will release the new 2012 Cast Recording for ANNIE CD on Tuesday, June 18. To celebrate the release of the CD cast members Jane Lynch, Anthony Warlow, Lilla Crawford, Brynn O'Malley, Clarke Thorell, creators Charles Strouse, Martin Charnin and Tom Meehan and more will sign copies of the album at Barnes & Noble (160 East 54th Street at 3rd Avenue) beginning promptly at 12:30 p.m. and ending at 1:45 p.m.
