The Sundance ASCAP Music Café headed into its first full week of the Sundance Film Festival with a wide array of performers representing many different musical flavors. Nashville writers included Joe Robinson, originally from Australia who is a guitar wizard and accomplished sideman for such artists as Emmylou Harris, Rodney Crowell and many more. Colter Wall, originally from Canada served up some authentic country and western songs made resonant by his deep baritone voice. And Barry Zito, a former major league baseball player who has found a new career as a singer-songwriter in Music City, played songs that have been placed with other artists and which have been featured in film and television.

American Repertory Theater Continues Live @ OBERON With Arc Iris' iTMRW

American Repertory Theater (A.R.T.) at Harvard University continues its curated live music series, Live @ OBERON, with Arc Iris on Saturday, January 25 at 8:30PM and Sunday, January 26 at 7:30PM. The Providence-based art pop trio will debut iTMRW, a theatrical performance of its new futuristic concept album featuring movement by HDC Dance Ensemble.

Brand-New Season of FINDING ESCOBAR'S MILLIONS Premieres Tuesday, Oct. 1 on Discovery Channel

Most people know that notorious crime lord Pablo Escobar brought in outrageous amounts of money during his reign. At the height of his power, Escobar raked in billions of dollars a year, making him one of the richest men in the world. Escobar strategically buried stashes of cash all over Colombia, yet much of it hasn't been found. With unprecedented access and permission from the Colombian government, two former DEA agents, Chris Feistl and Jerry Salameh, who spent their careers hunting down Colombian narcos, are now returning to Colombia in search of Pablo Escobar's buried treasure. The brand-new season of FINDING ESCOBAR'S MILLIONS premieres Tuesday, October 1st at 10 PM ET/PT on Discovery Channel.

Guster Covers Labi Siffre's CRYING, LAUGHING, LOVING, LYING

In 1972, London-born musician, poet and openly gay singer-songwriterLabi Siffre released “Crying, Laughing, Loving, Lying,” a tender love ballad that deals squarely with homophobia and racism.  While never having an international hit or labeled a “superstar”, the multi-talented Siffre built a cult following with covers by Rod Stewart and Olivia-Newton John and samples byKanye West, Jay-Z and most famously by Eminem on “My Name Is.”

'Indecent,' by Pulitzer Prize-winning playwright Paula Vogel, opened on June 9 at Center Theatre Group/Ahmanson Theatre. Directed by Rebecca Taichman in a co-production with Huntington Theatre Company, the Tony Award-nominated 'Indecent' will run through July 7, 2019.
