Irish Repertory Theatre announced today two productions, two special one-night-only performances and one streaming event for their upcoming winter 2022 season.

Tennessee Shakespeare Company Founder and Producing Artistic Director Dan McCleary plays the most popular writer of the 19th Century on stage in the theatre's next Dr. Greta McCormick Coger Literary Salon, A Christmas Carol: Charles Dickens' Dramatic Premier Reading in Boston. 

Off-Broadway's REVELATION: THE MUSICAL will have a Live Virtual Film Premiere Party on Friday, November 27! 2020 marks the 10 year anniversary of Revelation: The Musical. This brand new film features over 60 cast members and never-before-seen footage from the past 10 years!

The 2019 WATCH Award winners were announced on April 4th, 2020. The ceremony was canceled due to the current health crisis, but the announcement was published online. 

After a strong critical & audience response, Irish Repertory Theatre (Charlotte Moore, Artistic Director and Ciarán O'Reilly, Producing Director) announced today a one-week extension for Lady G: Plays and Whisperings of Lady Gregory. Lady G is written by Lady Augusta Gregory with additional material by Ciarán O'Reilly (Dublin Carol), and direction by O'Reilly. Originally set to close on March 22, 2020, Lady G will now play in the W. Scott McLucas Studio Theatre through March 29, 2020.

Pandora Productions, Louisville's only theatre company dedicated and most trusted to tell the stories of the LGBTQ community, is announcing plans for the 2019-2020 Season.

The Axelrod Performing Arts Center added an extra show this season-Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat-for beachgoing theatergoers on the Jersey Shore. Andrew Lloyd Webber and Tim Rice's first collaboration, which has had many lives over its fifty years, has been reimagined by director-choreographer Matthew Steffens and musical directorconductor Andrew Sotomayor. "So much of the score is iconic, but we had a tremendous desire to freshen it up, so we have voices and orchestrated the production so this is a one-of-a-kind production just for the Axelrod," says Steffens. 

The Producers and Creative Team of the upcoming Revelation: The Musical announced the Off Broadway cast and revealed their plans to also include over 20 different guest artists over the course of the run.

If a contemporary Hollywood screenwriter pitched the plot of Sean O'Casey's classic 1923 drama, The Shadow of a Gunman to a movie producer ('A struggling poet gets in over his head when he allows his neighbors to believe he's an IRA gunman in order to impress an attractive young woman.') it might get sold as a wacky romantic comedy.
