For me, Jobsite is the “Cream of the Crop” when it comes to presenting Shakespeare’s works. No one in this region “Rocks the Bard” as hard, as relevant, and as daring as Jobsite and their players. David Jenkins and Giles Davies have outdone themselves here. To a rocking, and pulse-inducing score by Jeremy Douglass and flashes of projections making you feel like you’re in a different time frame this production has it all. Henry V normally not the most sought-after of the History offerings is a stellar and triumphant display of magnanimous proportions and this cast is in true form.

With the challenging 2020-2021 school year coming to an end, Magik Theatre has announced enlightening summer shows for families to look forward to featuring the ever-popular Charlotte’s Web.

Wagner’s Siegfried is online from San Francisco Opera on March 20 and 21, 2021. Siegfried, a warrior without fear comes of age and prepares for battle in the third opera of Richard Wagner’s Ring Cycle. Tenor Daniel Brenna stars as the Siegfried, the son of Siegmund and Sieglinde who was born to retrieve the almighty ring of power from the dragon.

 In conjunction with the Santa Fe Public Library's Big Read Project happening in April 2021 celebrating Luis Alberto Urrea's novel  Into The Beautiful North, Teatro Paraguas will present live on Zoom the play adaptation by Karen Zacarias.

Artisan Center Theater has announced auditions for Mariachi Girl! The musical features book by Roxanne Schroeder-Arce | Music and Lyrics by Héctor Martínez Morales. Mariachi players and singers must come prepared with 32 bars of mariachi music. Please bring your own instruments and/or a CD for accompaniment.

Critical Stages Touring, Australia's national touring theatre company, is set to announce an ambitiously diverse year of storytelling on the country's stages. The full season and program will be launched at The Arts Exchange Sydney on March 8th. 

The Mayor’s Office of Media and Entertainment and NYC Department of Education announced today that DOE student filmmakers will conduct on-camera interviews with leading film industry professionals. These interviews will be available online following the 3rd Annual New York City Public School Film Festival taking place May 6, 2021.
