Review: COUNT DYKULA, Soho Theatre

Airlock Theatre has returned to Soho Theatre with their “third big queer musical extravaganza” - Count Dykula. Written and performed by Eleanor Colville, Rosanna Suppa and Robbie Taylor Hunt, the show tells the story of the titular Count Dykula (Suppa), a butch vampire who simply wants to live her life in peace, terrorising children in the woods. However, Dykula’s loner way of life is no longer the norm for monsters, and she must go to the newly-established Scare University to figure out just whats happening to the classic monster way of life.

Pansexual Pirate Pregnancy, a musical created by Eleanor Colville, Ro Suppa, Robbie Taylor Hunt and directed by Taylor Hunt, tells the story of Anne Bonny (Ro Suppa), an 18th-century woman who left her life on land behind to become a pirate.

STRATEGIC LOVE PLAY Will Embark on UK Tour This Autumn

Miriam Battye’s Strategic Love Play, a co-production with Soho Theatre and Belgrade Theatre in association with Landmark Theatres, will tour the UK this Autumn from 6 September - 21 October following a full run at the Edinburgh Fringe as part of the Roundabout @ Summerhall season.
