Green Day's American Idiot returns to the King's next week as part of a special 10th anniversary tour.

Newsday Reports that protestors took to the streets outside Huntington High School in Long Island to protest the production of Thoroughly Modern Millie taking place inside, which they say is 'racist against Chinese-Americans.'

Anna Perry's energetic and period-perfect choreography - along with impressive performances from a cadre of university students destined for Broadway stardom - ensures that Belmont University Musical Theatre's Thoroughly Modern Millie is a complete and utter delight, featuring a memorable score wrapped up in a rather daft but engaging storyline that earns every bit of the resounding applause in a standing ovation that comes at show's end.

Following two critically acclaimed and celebrated West End runs and a sell-out UK Tour, Green Day's explosive Tony Award winning rock musical, American Idiot, returns to mark the show's 10th anniversary and the 15th anniversary of the Grammy Award winning album. The special anniversary tour opens from 17 January 2019 at the Grove Theatre, Dunstable, with press night at the Mayflower Theatre, Southampton on Thursday 24 January.

She grabbed an oar and argued vehemently that they turn the boat around and look for survivors. It's been almost sixteen years since the cherished musical introduced one of our now most-cherished stars, and almost fourteen years since the show concluded its 903-performance run at the Marquis Theatre. Since then its cast and creative team have moved on to create some of Broadway's most beloved characters, scores, and theatrical experiences. Before the gang gets back together tomorrow, turn the corner down memory lane to 2002, when Broadway got a thoroughly modern makeover.

As previously announced, there will be a 15th Anniversary Reunion Concert benefit celebration of the 2002 Tony Award-winning Broadway production of Thoroughly Modern Millie. The concert will star two-time Tony Award® winner Sutton Foster, Tony Award® winner Gavin Creel, Tony Award® winner Harriet Harris and other original cast members for a one-night-only benefit to raise funds for The Actors Fund. Last night, Sutton Foster shared a photo on Instagram of herself and Gavin Creel with the caption 'This sure feels good.'
