Opera North and Kirklees Council have announced details of Kirklees Concert Season 2023-24, with a scaled-up programme of orchestral, organ, and festive performances in Huddersfield and Dewsbury Town Halls for Kirklees Year of Music 2023, and chamber concerts extending into summer 2024.

Northern Sky Theater will launch their 2023 season with their annual fundraiser Raise the Curtain: Light the Sky on Saturday, May 27. The fundraiser will once again be held at the company's Gould Theater outdoor gathering spaces, complete with music and food around a bonfire and culminating in the evening’s performance by the Northern Sky company.

In celebration of Great Performances’ 50th anniversary season, the series raises the curtain on a starry “Broadway’s Best” schedule of programs featuring dazzling musical numbers and high drama. The lineup kicks off with a star-studded concert celebrating Broadway during the series’ 50 years on PBS spanning from the early 1970s to the present day.

Alex Borstein and Rachel Brosnahan have shared their thoughts on a potential Marvelous Mrs. Maisel stage musical adaptation! Borstein shared t she would love to reprise her role as Susie in the potential musical, also suggesting the musicals format. Brosnahan revealed that Laura Benanti would be her choice to star as Midge.

Sutton Foster, Darren Criss, Alexander Gemignani, and more will appear in the new season of The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel. The appearances will reunite Sutton, Strong and Gunn with creator Amy Sherman-Palladino. After appearing in the series Bunheads, Foster previously recorded a rendition of 'I Enjoy Being a Girl' for Mrs. Maisel's third season.

The Seattle Symphony's 2023/2024 season marks the orchestra's 120th season and the 25th anniversary of Benaroya Hall's opening.
