Singer-songwriter Merritt David Janes, currently starring as Dewey in the National Tour of School of Rock-The Musical, releases The Winter Guardians' first single, 'Think Out Loud,' today. Along with Janes, the group features three young instrumentalists who performed with him in the on-stage band of Broadway's School of Rock: guitarist Brandon Niederauer, drummer Raghav Mehrotra and bassist Jersey Sullivan.

The 7th Annual Sueños 2019 Benefit continued what has now become a NYC tradition, raising awareness and funds for high quality education for more than 9,000 Dominican youth. Sueños 2019 took place at The Mezzanine on Wall Street, celebrating Dominican Independence Day, Dominican American culture and education opportunities for all.

The American Theatre Wing announced today that its annual Gala, which honored newly minted EGOT recipient Andrew Lloyd Webber last night at Cipriani 42nd Street, raised a record breaking total of $1,652,502 in support of the Wing's programs and the Andrew Lloyd Webber Initiative Legacy Fund, breaking all previous records.

Andrew Lloyd Webber's smash hit School of Rock - The Musical, now in its third year on Broadway, announced today that the show celebrates its 1,000th Broadway performance on Saturday, April 28, 2018, with the release of photos from the show's recent alumni reunion at the Winter Garden Theatre.

On Wednesday April 11th at Bar Nine, The Koala Bears, of School Of Rock The Musical will be jamming out to all of your favorite rock cover songs to raise money for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS! This band, led by Justin Collette (current Dewey Finn), will be joined onstage by our incredibly talented alumni Kids cast, Brandon Niederauer (Lead guitar), Jersey Sullivan (Bass), Raghav Mehrotra (drums) plus special guests.

Additionally, audiences at many shows can purchase autographed posters, Playbills and other memorabilia or one-of-a-kind experiences, including backstage tours and meet-and-greets, in exchange for a donation. Comedic actor Eric Petersen just assumed the role of wannabe rock star, Dewey Finn, last night, November 7, 2016. The Kid Band, who perform Andrew Lloyd Webber's score live at every performance, now includes new cast members Rachel Katzke as Katie the bass player and Walden Sullivan as Lawrence the keyboardist, along with returning cast members, Brandon Niederauer as Zack the guitarist and Raghav Mehrotra as Freddy on drums. Additionally, Olivia Chun assumes the role of super serious band manager Summer, Steven Booth assumes the role of Ned, Annabelle Wachtel plays Marcy, Terrance Bell, Jr. plays Mason, Chloe Bryanwill plays Madison, and Ellie Kim joins the cast as a swing.
