Target Margin Theater Returns to In-Person Events with MAGIC IN PLAIN SIGHT, Storefront Performance Series

Dorset Theatre Festival has announced release dates for two new virtual events. A collection of short pieces written by the Festival's Women Artists Writing Group will be available on-demand starting July 31, and an online reading of New York Times best-selling author Chris Bohjalian's play, Wingspan, will stream August 3-9.

Roses are Blind, an award-winning film featuring 4-time Tony Award winner Boyd Gaines and Tony nominee Daniel Davis will have a screening in NYC on Wed. 1/15 at 8:15pm at Anthology Archives (62 Second Avenue) as part of the NewFilmmakers New York Film Festival. Tickets are $7 and go on sale at 5:30pm the night of screening at the Anthology Box Office. The film is directed by Gui Agustini, Executive Produced by Wendy J. White and co-written by Agustini and White.

Yesterday, October 15th at The Lotos Club (5 East 66th Street, New York City), the 2018 recipients of the biennial Horton Foote Prize, were celebrated for excellence in American theater. The 2018 Prize for Outstanding New American Play, presented to a work produced in the 2016-17 or 2017-18 seasons, was awarded to Cambodian Rock Band by Lauren Yee. The 2018 Prize for Promising New American Play, presented to a previously unproduced work, was awarded to India Pale Ale by Jaclyn Backhaus.
