Tegan and Sara Release New Album 'Crybaby'

The innovative, multi-platinum Canadian duo Tegan and Sara have released Crybaby, their tenth studio album and first release with label Mom+Pop Music. The album release follows the debut of High School, the original coming-of-age series co-created and executive produced by Tegan and Sara Quin and Clea DuVall.

THE WATCHER Hits #1 on Netflix Top 10 the Week of October 10

Ryan Murphy ruled the Top 10 once again this week, with three titles on the Netflix charts. Since its debut on Thursday, Murphy’s real-estate thriller The Watcher landed in the #1 spot with 125.01M hours viewed on the English TV List. Starring Naomi Watts and Bobby Cannavale, the series was in the Top 10 in 90 countries.

2022 Key West Film Festival Announces Golden Key Awards for Chris Cooper and Elegance Bratton

The Key West Film Festival announced the recipients of its annual Golden Key Awards to be presented to screen legend Chris Cooper and Elegance Bratton, director of the upcoming release The Inspection. Past recipients of the award include Burt Reynolds, Marisa Tomei, Kimberly Peirce, Tom Skerritt, Lois Smith, Paul Verhoeven and Alan Cumming.

DAHMER Continues to Break Netflix Records

It was Ryan Murphy’s week on Netflix. His groundbreaking TV drama, DAHMER - Monster: The Jeffrey Dahmer Story, topped the English TV List for the third week in a row, with 205.33M hours viewed. And the limited series is now Netflix’s second most popular English language series of all time behind Stranger Things.

The limited series by Ryan Murphy and starring Emmy Award winner Evan Peters has topped the English TV List for the second week in succession with 299.84M hours viewed — making it the second most watched English-language series in a week behind Stranger Things 4. 

Tegan and Sara Release New Single 'I Can't Grow Up'

“I Can’t Grow Up” is a self-described “snotty nosed pop song about not being able to grow out of bad habits in relationships.” The official video, directed by Mark Myers, matches the song’s playfulness and the duo’s charisma. The new song “was musically inspired by Chicago band Dehd and their album Flower of Devotion,” according to Sara Quin.

Amazon Freevee released the trailer for its highly anticipated YA series High School, based on Tegan and Sara Quin’s New York Times best-selling memoir of the same name. The trailer includes an Amazon Original cover of the song “Today” by The Smashing Pumpkins, performed by Tegan and Sara, which is now available to hear only on Amazon Music.

The Chats Announce Biggest UK/EU Tour to Date for 2023

The Chats have been touring throughout 2022 playing in front of huge crowds across many countries and are now proud to embark on their 2023 UK tour dates with a headline show at Brixton’s 02 Academy in London - their largest show to date. Cast Announced for the Los Angeles Premiere of SANCTUARY CITY at Pasadena Playhouse

Pasadena Playhouse will present the Los Angeles premiere of Sanctuary City by Pulitzer Prize-winner Martyna Majok (Cost of Living). Performances are scheduled from September 14 through October 9. The production stars Ana Nicolle Chavez (Apple TV +’s Truth Be Told) as “G,” and Miles Fowler (HBO’sWinning Time) as “B.”
