The Palm Beach Modern + Contemporary Art Fair, presented by Art Miami and sponsored by the City of West Palm Beach returns for its fourth edition in West Palm Beach City's Tent Site (825 S Dixie Hwy & Okeechobee Blvd, West Palm Beach) on Thursday, January 9th with a VIP Preview, before opening to the general public on Friday, January 10th through January 12th.
Good Theater continues its Second Stage series with MURDERERS, the darkly hilarious comedy by Jeffrey Hatcher. The production will run in repertory with the current main stage show, POPCORN FALLS. Scenes From Childhood, a new play by Ari Brand (My Name Is Asher Lev, Fosse/Verdon, Marvelous Mrs. Maisel) opens at the Theater at the 14th Street Y this January 10 - January 25. Set against the backdrop of the AIDS crisis in New York City, Scenes from Childhood tells the story of a young actor who pieces together the life and death of his father, a concert pianist. Spanning both the 1980's and present-day New York, this theatrical memoir asks: Who gets to tell your story?
Works of art by renowned artists from the past century will feature in the new British Museum touring exhibition Living with art: Picasso to Celmins, which reflects important artistic developments during this period in Europe and America. Spanning almost one hundred years of modern art, this exhibition will showcase highlights from the wide-ranging collection of Alexander Walker (1930a?"2003), longstanding film critic for London's Evening Standard newspaper, bequeathed to the British Museum in 2004.

For its winter engagement, The Joffrey Ballet presents The Times Are Racing, a mixed repertory program featuring choreography from four of the most influential artists working today, including the Chicago premiere of Justin Peck's 2017 ballet for which the program gets its name, two pieces by Israeli choreographer and former Batsheva Dance Company member Itzik Galili, a Christopher Wheeldon classic, and a new work from Chicago's Stephanie Martinez, 2015 winner of the Joffrey's Winning Works choreographic competition. The Times Are Racing is presented in ten performances only, February 12-23 at the Auditorium Theatre.
