With a star-studded line-up for their second series of interviews, Playbox Theatre's CHATTERBOX is giving young people and youth theatres the chance to interact directly with renowned artists and industry leaders.

Brad Shaw today launched the Wonderland Challenge, in which 165 actors and voice artists have come together to record Lewis Carroll's Alice in Wonderland, with each performer reading one minute of the novel. Those involved include Gyles Brandreth, Ruth Jones, Juliet Stevenson, Michael Palin and Harriet Walter.

Wayne Glover-Stuart has been named as the new producer at Chiswick Playhouse. Having trained at Guildhall School of Music and Drama, he has since worked as a Creative Producer at the BBC, General Manager at Tramshed and the Artistic Lead at Shaw Theatre. He joins Chiswick Playhouse after its relaunch in late 2019 with the aim of fulfilling the big ambitions of this small space.

Fox (Andrew Parker) with executive producers Gareth Neame and Liz Trubridge. Suki Waterhouse has been cast as Sandra Wolsfeld, Miss USA in the upcoming film Misbehaviour, starring Keira Knightley, according to Deadline.

The Crawley's return in the first teaser trailer for the Downton Abbey film. This is the first glimpse of them after their departure in 2015 after six award-winning seasons on PBS and ITV.

Variety reports Greg Kinnear (“Little Miss Sunshine”), Lesley Manville (“Phantom Thread”), Keeley Hawes(“Bodyguard”), Rhys Ifans (“Notting Hill”) and Phyllis Logan (“Downton Abbey”) will star in “Misbehaviour.' Previously announced are Keira Knightley, Gugu Mbatha Raw and Jessie Buckley.

Directed by Lucy Bailey, the play is set in a remote house in 90s Switzerland where the elderly and mean Patricia Highsmith - eccentric writer of many psychological thrillers and creator of the famous murderous character Tom Ripley - receives a visit from a young man. Sent by her American publisher, Edward Ridgeway has the only goal of convincing her to write one last Ripley novel.

A West End production has been announced for Switzerland starring Phyllis Logan as renowned author Patricia Highsmith with Calum Finlay as Edward Ridgeway. The award-winning psychological thriller is written by Joanna Murray-Smith and directed by Lucy Bailey and will run at the Ambassadors Theatre in London from Saturday 10 November 2018 until Saturday 5 January 2019.

Jonathan Church, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Bath's Summer Season, today announces further casting for the 2018 summer programme with actors Ralf Little (The Royle Family, Ugly Lies the Bone) and Nigel Lindsay (Victoria, Four Lions) joining the previously announced Elizabeth McGovern and Amanda Abbington in the 10th anniversary production of Yasmina Reza's God of Carnage. 

Acorn TV and Acorn Media Enterprises announce their second series commission and first straight-to-series program with British drama series LONDON KILLS. Acorn Media Enterprises (AME), the UK-based development division for the Acorn brand of RLJ Entertainment, Inc, has partnered with PGMTV to co-produce the new series along with Acorn Media International distributing in all English-speaking territories and international distributor ZDF Enterprises distributing in the rest of the world. Created for television and co-written by Paul Marquess (Suspects, Footballers' Wives), LONDON KILLS is currently casting and will go into production in May with a winter 2018 North American premiere for Series 1. The companies will produce two series back-to-back comprised of five by one-hour episodes. The deal was negotiated with Acorn Media Enterprises Shane Murphy, PGMTV's Paul Marquess, and ZDF Enterprises' VP ZDFE.
