This past weekend, Betty Buckley joined Jason Robert Brown as his special guest for his artist-in-residence concerts at SubCulture.

SubCulture, the performing arts venue in downtown Manhattan, is pleased to announce Jason Robert Brown's special guest for his artist-in-residence concerts on November 23rd, 24th and 25th: Tony Award-winning actress/singer BETTY BUCKLEY (Cats, Sunset Boulevard).

Jason Robert Brown has revealed his next guest joining him in residency at SubCulture and it is none other than Tony winner herself, Betty Buckley. Buckley is set for three appearances, November 23rd, 24th and 25th. 

Hadestown star and 2019 Tony Award winner André de Shields has emerged from the underworld to star in the latest episode of the acclaimed public-radio children's podcast, Circle Round.

Ariana DeBose and Sara Niemietz will join Jason Robert Brown at SubCulture! The show takes place on Monday, October 14 at 7pm.

Jason Robert Brown has added a second show with Raul Esparza at SubCulture! The pair will have two performances only on August 9, at 8pm and 10pm.

Just last night, June 24, SubCulture and Jason Robert Brown presented an evening of songs and stories at Town Hall. This was the 50th performance of SubCulture's Artist-in-Residence series, which will feature brand new arrangements with an orchestra of New York's finest musicians. Featured in the special evening were Shoshana Bean (Waitress), Joshua Henry (Carousel), and Rob McClure (Beetlejuice), Katrina Lenk (The Band's Visit) and Stephen Sondheim.

Next up for Jason Robert Brown's concert series is the legendary composer Stephen Sondheim, according to The New York Times.

The California Symphony and Music Director Donato Cabrera ring in the holiday season with two special performances of A LEMONY SNICKET HOLIDAY today, December 23 2017 at 4PM and 8PM at the Lesher Center in Walnut Creek. The program features an audience sing-along, selections from the Nutcracker, Sleigh Ride, and modern narrated orchestral classic The Composer is Dead. Tickets also include free, family-friendly activities in the lobby starting an hour before the show.

Ars Nova presents THE ARS NOVA REVOLUTION, celebrating Ars Nova All Stars Jill Furman, Thomas Kail and Lin-Manuel Miranda, from Freestyle Love Supreme (Ars Nova, 2004) to HAMILTON (Broadway, 2015). This epic night of revelry benefiting Ars Nova's artist community, featuring performances by cast members of Hamilton and Freestyle Love Supreme, was held just last night at The Edison Ballroom (240 West 47th Street). The Jewish Channel will launch its second season of its popular theater-oriented monthly TV show, "Row J," beginning on Monday, September 21. Row J" is hosted by TJC correspondent Meredith Ganzman. The executive producer is Brian Scott Lipton. Each episode of "Row J" focuses on Broadway and off-Broadway shows, highlighting Jewish themes, actors, writers, and directors. Theater personalities discuss their current projects and careers, alongside reviews of new shows, on-location features with theater community notables, and other special segments.
