Gordon Leary and Julia Meinwald's The Magnificent Seven, a new musical about the 1996 U.S. Women's Olympic Gymnastics team, begins its limited run July 7 at Theatre Row. Performances continue through July 17.

The Green Room 42 have announced their July lineup for their popular Rooftop Movie Series and the Celebrity Cruises Rooftop Garden Cinema Series. Films begin at 8:45pm, with food and beverage service available before and during the film.

Shakespeare's Globe has announced the cast and company for a new production of The Tempest running this summer from 22 July - 22 October, directed by Sean Holmes. Shakespeare's tumultuous tale of reckoning and redemption will be brought to life by the Globe Ensemble, who have been thrilling audiences in the critically acclaimed season opening production of Much Ado About Nothing which runs until 23 October.

Company of Rowlett Performers will present Matilda the Musical July 9-17, 2022 at Plaza Theater. The show runs for two weekends with kid-friendly matinees on Saturdays and Sundays at 2:00 pm and two Saturday evening performances.
