NJPAC Announces 2022-23 Season of Dance Including Premieres, Company Anniversaries, and Jazz Collaborations

The New Jersey Performing Arts Center (NJPAC) announced its upcoming 2022-23 season of dance including several anniversary celebrations and world premieres. The fall season begins with two shows melding dance and jazz music: famed Newark-born tap artist and dancemaker Savion Glover collaborates with jazz vocalist Dee Dee Bridgewater (Nov 12) followed by new works by New Jersey-based Carolyn Dorfman Dance featuring a live performance by renowned jazz violinist Regina Carter (Nov 16).
Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre Signs New Dancers For 2022-2023 Season

Pittsburgh Ballet Theatre (PBT) Artistic Director Susan Jaffe has signed five new dancers to the company roster for PBT's 2022-2023 Season. The season opens Oct. 7-9, with Storytelling in Motion at the August Wilson African American Cultural Center.

Tickets for Greek National Opera productions to be presented inside the Stavros Niarchos Hall and on the GNO Alternative Stage at the SNFCC from September through December 2022 go on sale this Friday, 29 July 2022 at 09.00. This programme is made possible by a grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF) to enhance the GNO’s artistic outreach.

THE SLEEPING BEAUTY Returns to the Netherlands This Year

The opening night of The Sleeping Beauty will take place in Dutch National Opera & Ballet, in Amsterdam, on 12 October. Sir Peter Wright's production of The Sleeping Beauty has been the jewel in the crown of Dutch National Ballet's repertoire for over forty years now. This season, the company will be dancing 21 performances of the glittering ballet, in the period from mid-October to the beginning of January.

Remaining Summer Movies Announced at Sarasota Opera House With Additional and Rescheduled Movies

Sarasota Opera announces an added title in its “HD at the Opera House” series with a screening of “Der Rosenkavalier” on Sunday, September 25. This historic Salzburg Festival production stars legendary soprano Elisabeth Schwarzkopf. Sarasota Opera also rescheduled a film of Verdi's Rigoletto to September 11 (from May) with tickets for these “HD at the Opera House” films on sale for $22, and $20 for Sarasota Opera subscribers.

perform for the first time in this amphitheater on July 21 and 22, 2022. On the immense open-air stage and accompanied by the LA Phil under the baton of Gustavo Dudamel, Music Director of the Opéra national de Paris, the Company will present an anthology of its repertoire before more than 17,000 spectators each evening.
